Their app is very user friendly. John Kwon runs a clean, professional PT operation. One of his strengths (or he is just lucky) is hiring staff that just seem to fit in to the family feel of Core PT. Each PT adds something different in their approach. Patients can stay with the same PT or go at it like a smorgasbord and try different PTs through the course of their treatment. However, I have noticed a consistent issue across several therapists. After the first five minutes of evaluating the patient, many therapists begin engaging in casual conversations with other therapists or clients, and this continues throughout the session. This takes away from the quality of care, as they are no longer fully focused on the patient. Every patient, whether paying through insurance or co pay, deserves the therapist's FULL attention for the ENTIRE session, not just the first few minutes or the last portion. While working in a shared space is understandable, it is not appropriate for therapists to engage in unrelated conversations once a session has started. Management should address this and ensure therapists remain fully attentive to their own patients at all times. Updating my rating to 5 stars again due to the management's immediate attention to the matter. Thank you.

I got absolutely no feedback from him on anything I reported about my condition. The assistants didn't know what I had done previously, didn't instruct me clearly and seldom corrected me when I did an exercise wrong. They would constantly leave me and come back after I was done. I got a set of exercises by email after my first visit and it was never updated. On my last visit, the office had moved without notifying me. That made me about 10 minutes late and my therapy was, consequently, cut short. There was never any offer of ice, tens, etc. at end of session.

They were knowledgeable and provided quality care, although they seemed understaffed. My biggest concern was with the front desk and billing process. I was scheduled for more visits than my insurance coverage allowed, and I was later told that I was fully responsible for the additional fees. While I understand that patients are responsible for knowing their insurance benefits, I also expect a basic level of communication and customer service from a medical office. A clinic should have a system to track the number of authorized visits and alert patients when they are approaching or exceeding their coverage limits. Instead, I was left feeling like the responsibility was shifted entirely onto me for an issue that could have been prevented with better internal tracking and communication. It is frustrating to receive good clinical care but have such a disappointing experience with the administrative side.

I ended up working with him, and during that time, he helped me figure out the root cause of my knee pain. I play volleyball, and Dr. Thomas made sure I was practicing proper form and corrected some movements that were likely contributing to the issue. This is my third time coming over the last five years. My first experience was horrible. No help no…read morerelief. My second experience was good. There was a female therapist and Ken and they were both very attentive and I did feel better after a surgery, she worked on me every time. The third visit, horrible once Ken left due to medical reasons I was completely ignored. I kept telling the therapist 50- 60Ish man messy blonde hair I had to beg him to work on my ankle. He kept telling me it's not swollen. It's fine. Keep working through it. Well I went to another therapist and then orthopedic and I have a tear in the tendon. I now have to have surgery probably wouldn't have had to have if he hadn't pushed me he doesn't know what he's doing. If he likes you great apparently he didn't like me. Mostly he's on the phone with personal business his son's football moving his mom. Literally walks in the door on the phone personal business gets on the computer still personal business. I don't care or wanna hear about your son's issues at school or football. I don't wanna hear all your personal stuff on the phone. He was so rude to me and indifferent. I finally stopped because it was a waste of my insurance money. I went to another therapist and I don't push if it hurts. The other guy was like oh no it's just scar tissue your ankle is fine ! Their combination of heat and deep tissue massage has left me feeling like I have had a miracle . I have continued taking 700 mg of gabapentin at bedtime but no other pain medication not even Tylenol during the night or day. I have been seeing them twice a week for the past month. This is my first day of waking up pain-free. I am even walking around without my cane!Drove to get my hair done sitting here in disbelief.
