I think it is so disrespectful that the woman (Elizabeth) i believe thats her name can see you walk in and she is just on her phone scrolling. She has legit made my mom wait for her until she is done with whatever she is watching on her phone instead of helping her. We have literally had to turn to the two people on the side to help us and it's so uncomfortable. I think when people are older and have a hard time walking if they come to you, you have to give them your attention ASAP! My mom doesn't speak English, and I help translate, but Laura was incredibly attentive to both of us. She carefully observed my mom's movement and reactions, asked thoughtful questions and never made us feel rushed. Even with the language barrier, she quickly understood what was going on. She took the time to explained everything clearly and showed where the pain may be coming from. By the time we got home, my mom already felt noticeably relief. That surprised us as this was just an initial evaluation. There are many skilled professionals out there, but it's rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients. Laura is exactly that. They have lots of help (ie interns) and helped me with a stubborn back problem and painful rotator. When I first arrived, I was stiff and bent over in pain due a muscle back issue. They ran me through a vigorous 1 hour session, twice a week and included a series of resistance and stretching exercises, bands and weights. After the session ended, I found myself exhausted and later toward the end, invigorated. There were times when I walked out thinking I should go out to the basketball court and challenge anyone to a full court game. I'm 69 and delusional. Still, it showed me the value of a strong stretching and resistance program on a continuous basis. At least that's what I learned from it. I tip my hat to Brittany, Nathan, Sidney, Anish, Kristen and the others who helped me. For me, the location was ideal (close to home) but if you're looking for a great staff who have the patience of a saint but the perseverance to get you to push yourself so as to reach your goals, pick these guys!
