This has severely impacted the way they do business, the customer service and overall offerings. Many of us requiring hearing aids are very dependent on these for work and everyday life activities. I purchased one of the top tier hearing aids and their selling point was that it is under warranty and if anything should happen they would send it out and provide me with loners until they are fixed. I am a single black mom, with a child who relies on my income. This was the main purpose I purchased from them as they believed in standing behind their product and supported me in not having any disruptions to provide for my child. This morning one of my units stopped working. They had me come in and said they would send it out to repair and to come back in an hour for a loner set. Once I left, they called me to say I was misinformed and that they no longer offer this service. Confirmed they never made patients aware but that the corporation HEARING LIFE purchased them and is enforcing this no matter the harm done to its patients. Is this the company you really want to get your hearing aids from? Someone who won't care what is currently happening in your life and what precious moment you could miss? They are business through and through and only care for your money. There are plenty of audiologist. I suggest going with one whom cares about your well being, not one that lies to get your hard earned money.

I finally needed to take my elderly father for a hearing checkup due to having to constantly repeat…read moremyself in conversations with him. Some hearing loss is to be expected since he's in his 80s, but we also had to make sure there was nothing physically wrong with his ears. After contacting several other audiology facilities first because they were listed more prominently on Yelp, I finally found Vegas Valley Hearing, which was the only one to want to help me with verifying his Medicare supplemental insurance so his hearing exam would be covered in full. I had called a Medicare rep who told me that no doctor's referral is required for a routine hearing assessment, and Vegas Valley Hearing confirmed it (unlike the other places that kept insisting I get a referral from his primary care doctor before I could even schedule an appointment). The hearing exam involved a general inspection of the ear (inside and out) and then going into the soundproof booth for the actual testing of auditory function. After the exam, the results were explained to us and questions answered to our satisfaction. The testing revealed that my dad has abnormal hearing loss for his age, and he probably should get a hearing aid to improve his quality of life. I appreciated that there was no sales pressure or obligation when we were given information on hearing device costs/options and the followup phone call the next day to let us know that insurance would allow a significant discount if we decided to purchase any of the hearing aids. From start to finish, Vegas Valley Hearing impressed me with their helpfulness, knowledge, and professionalism. It's a small audiology clinic, but it's big on treating patients with exceptional, genuine care. I gladly recommend Vegas Valley Hearing to anyone who wants an extra-effort-for-your-ears hearing improvement assistance experience!

After a 40 minute drive, and prompt arrival, I was told, sorry and I would have to reschedule because there must have been a faulty scheduling system. I even showed the doctor the confirmed text. He acknowledged the center's error. When I asked if they could see me or work me in (as I had traveled 40 minutes), the receptionist said "too bad, You'll have to come back. You're choice.We're waiting for another patient to show." I was aghast at the unprofessionalism of this office and will go elsewhere. The receptionist is NOT receptionist material and the doctor should have stepped in. She was clearly running the show.

Fast forward a year when I had an emergent problem with my throat and was thrilled to find a spot on line with their nurse practitioner. When I arrived they tell me they cancelled my appointment and had called an hour and a half ago. The rule here is you may not see another provider, only yours. And I can come back I three weeks to see nosebleed lady. Be assured that this place does not work as a team for your health, the more important thing is they don't poach each other's patients. Terrible patient care philosophy. Stay far away.
