My issue has nothing to do with the doctor, but with the person in the eyeglasses area. After my…read morecataract surgery I still wanted to wear my eyeglasses. My prescription (for reading) was only going in the lower portion of the lense. It was explained to me that was called a "progressive" lense...top portion has no prescription. I also needed new lenses in my sunglasses. I assumed the tech understood I wanted them exactly like my regular eyeglasses. Instead of simply saying that, she used other words when discussing the sunglasses. I still assumed they would be exactly the same. After picking up both pairs of glasses, I noticed the sunglasses were "blurry" when looking straight ahead. I knew immediately what happened. My reading prescription had been put in the entire lense. Not just the bottom. When I was finally able to speak to this tech, she told me I had to pay the difference for a "progressive" lense. Not for nothing, but I don't do this for a living. She does. Why on earth wouldn't she explain I needed a progressive lense in my sunglasses?? She didn't. She let me think my sunglasses would be just like my regular glasses! Then had the nerve to insist I was at fault. Sorry, not buying it! SHE is the so called "professional". If I only needed a reading prescription, hence a "progressive" lense on one pair of glasses, why would the second pair be different??? I'm waiting to speak to her manager when she returns from vacation. I do NOT recommend getting your glasses from here!

Having had excellent experiences at the Southpark and Steele Creek locations, I expected to be just…read moreas pleased at the Pineville location. I couldn't be more disappointed. The first issue was just making the appointment. I showed up, they didn't have me scheduled. What followed was so screwy and complicated I don't even know how to go into any detail without needing five paragraphs, so suffice it to say by the time I could show them the confirmation on their CEENTA app all they could do was try to fit me in. They did, but I felt rushed and the doctor and his P.A. seemed to be distracted by thinking of the next patient while they were talking to me. All of this was nothing in light of what happened next. I had surgery on my neck. The goal of the surgery was accomplished but the incision wasn't closed properly and I am left actually deformed. It's ugly and permanent and I will be self-conscious about it for the rest of my life. I understand that by the time it was discovered there was nothing that could be done to correct it. But they were so nonchalant about it and haven't seemed at all concerned about what happened to me. And it absolutely WAS the fault of whomever closed the incision (I don't know who, I was anesthetized). I followed post-surgical instructions to the letter. I even considered a malpractice suit, but that would accomplish nothing. This cannot be fixed. I want to repeat: I have had a more-than-satisfactory experience at the Steele Creek location and the care I've received at the Southpark location has been outstanding for the last ten years.

The appointments with the doctor are good and thorough though I wonder why he has a stethoscope because he doesn't seem to have any need to touch patients. The exam room is large enough that we could play badminton between the computer where the doctor sits and the patient seating. Odd. But we are pleased with the treatment and it seems to be moving in the right direction. Brains are hard so it can take a while to figure out what's going on and work on fixing it. The doctor led me to believe he cared and would get to the bottom of my essential tremor, but then didn't care when I pleaded, saying if they wouldn't see me, I would very likely go untreated. So if you need a neurologist because you struggle to function, this is not the neurologist for you. This is for folks that have the spoons to jump through hoops, only for those with neurological disorders that don't really affect them but they still want to see a doctor. if you have a neurological condition that affects you in day to day life, go somewhere else.

I arrived early, filled out The paperwork and paid the very reasonable fee - I feel -to have both ears cleaned out: and then they could determine from there if there was anything else. The young lady who assisted me was very pleasant professional, and competent! She explained everything thoroughly -before Hand And as she was irrigating both ears as well She asked if I wanted to see what came out and I said yes, of course and she said 90% of people do say that ! Wow, was I surprised! The chunk of stuff that came out of that right ear that was bothering me I could see why I could have trouble hearing and it felt weird She said everything else looked really great and I really didn't need any follow up and if it took 70 years for it to get plugged, that was probably good to go -lol The office is very comfortable, pleasant professional, and I enjoyed every moment of interaction, including the very kind young lady that signed me in very sweet and patient Overall, my experience was 100% positive and I would highly recommend this office You feel like they actually care about you you're not just a number

When making my appointment, they were up front that this service does not go through insurance, and how much it would be. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly and the waiting room had such a homey feeling! There were couches in addition to chairs to wait in as well as an artificial fireplace. I had to wait about 20 minutes, but when Mackenzie came to get me for the service, she was so friendly! She explained the process to me so I knew what to expect. She was so friendly, and we talked throughout the process. It was painless and took about 15 minutes. She made sure to get all the remaining liquid out and sent me home with a little goodie bag as well.
