They never changed her out of her same pajamas the whole 10 days. Would not recommend unless no other option and then only for end of life care. Oh and for this, had to pay out of pocket $200/day and even for the full day despite being transferred home by 8 AM. When confronted, the staff and administrator was defensive and reluctantly helpful getting belongings and meds back- we had to make several trips back there.

Don't believe any one star reviews without clear examples of mistreatment while slandering staff. Crazy tirades on Yelp are not helpful.

My sister was in an assisted nursing care facility for 6 months, and the thought of her continuing to reside in a similar environment was heartbreaking. While there, the numerous and almost monthly visits to the ER due to UTIs, inadequate doctor and care oversite, lack of consistent and timely drug and therapy services was truly unacceptable for her health. My sister is now living with my family in our home, and CrossRoads has allowed us to find an alternative path to her care along with using other support teams. From CrossRoads, we received scheduled physical, occupational and nursing services. Their exceptional services have allowed my sister to remain in a home environment and us to build a secure loving environment for her long-term care. I have used other home care services, and would consistently request for CrossRoads services. Her medical needs are addressed by a caring, effective, reliable, proactive and incredible staff at CrossRoads. I could not have asked for a better team to help with this unprecedented emotional and physical challenge my family has undertaken. Our physical therapist Jason, engages, motivates and physically prepares my sister for mobility and flexibility and encourages her to maintain and maximize her existing mobility. Shanel provides the confidence that home care is a viable and very workable situation in partnering with my sister's medical team. It's very obvious that Shanel enjoys her work and patients, and truly focuses on the customers' needs. When my sister arrived at our home, Sabrina, Occupational Therapist, immediately identified tools, equipment and recommendations that provided additional comfort to my sister and to our family and support caregivers in mitigating our physical demands. She was incredibly efficient and facilitated accommodating our needs immediately with her experience and resources. I feel our sister received the best care from Sabrina and CrossRoads in tailoring our home as effectively as possible in maximizing my sister's care. Equally important as the effective direct skills of the CrossRoads staff, is the intangible support they provide my sister and to us. Both visited regularly and were super sensitive to my husband's needs despite the fact that he is a "difficult" patient. Our physical therapist, Ms Noel, seemed to have a special understanding of my husband's situation that helped reduce his pain whenever she visited. I give this program five stars because of the nurse who came to my house. Her name is Emily Skaff and she is so terrific. The way she talks and explains things is so soothing and she just seems like a person who genuinely enjoys what she does. She had such a gentle nature both my husband and myself really enjoyed talking with her. As first time parents, we don't know much so we asked a bunch of questions. She answered them all. She offered to check out my stitches but I said it's ok. So the home nurses do everything: physical assessment of baby and mom, and wound care for episiotomy if you want. For nurse Emily, I give her five stars on her home visit. It cost $290, by the way. If you get her to do your home visit, you are lucky! She was here for about an hour. She brought a lot of stuff and also a scale to weigh the baby. She cleaned everything off with antibacterial gel afterward. I think Emily is wonderful.

The staff changes all the time and they don't communicate with each other. They let my dad run out of supplies and left him in the wrong set up over the weekend. Then they told me that they couldn't order the right supplies. This was after they'd been "caring" for him for many months. There have been several other serious issues that I won't detail in this review. If you have any other option, use that instead of Sutter.

The caregivers do not seem to have any supervision or accountability and routinely fail to follow basic safety protocols and routinely disrespect VULNERABLE residents. While a few staff seem compassionate and want to provide care, the overall atmosphere feels inconsistent and dismissive of legitimate concerns. Families should look very closely at how care plans are followed, how staff respond to resident limitations, and how complaints are actually handled. Proceed with caution at this facility.

Their in-person providers (nurse, aide, spiritual counselor) were terrific - competent, compassionate, well-organized, and helpful to both my sister and to me as her HPOA. The nurse saw her twice weekly checking her vitals and assessing her. The aide helped her caregivers with her daily needs. Health Link ordered hospital-quality equipment (a really good bed and other equipment that she might need as she progressed to end-of-life.) The office staff were also available and efficient -- handling paperwork issues, etc. And Health Link has 24-hours -- even tho' we didn't need them then. And their advice was so helpful to me and to the caregivers at the Memory Care facility where she lived. Five stars plus!!
