Neural Emotional Technique NET reminds me of chakra/reiki and doesn't involve needles, Thank you Dr. Aiden!

Book a consultation today! Dr. Aiden has treated many patients with chronic pain from anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and other mental health issues. I attended a Sound Bath event one evening and it was transformational. I also completed a four series meditation class. Dr. Aiden is knowledgeable in Chinese medicine and other remedies if you're looking to supplement traditional therapy. He has a wealth of knowledge about calming the nervous system by using acupuncture, essential oils, and unclogging energy utilizing acupuncture and the Neuro-Emotional Technique. I have recommended Dr. Aiden to many of my clients to supplement therapy/coaching to those who suffer from social anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It is recommended that this work is paired with therapy and/or a safe group/person to process. Let's get to work!

I started seeing Aiden almost a year ago when my therapist suggested he could help release trauma from my body.

Beginner or not, this is a great space to relive some stress, tap into your inner peace, and meet others that are also interested in self exploration. What a gem in Costa Mesa, providing the public with free meditation classes (donations are always welcome!). Gil and Marilyn are SO welcoming, and somehow manage to remember everyones names. The first time I came in was by myself for the Wednesday night group practice led by Gil. The next time I came in was with my cousin, who had no prior meditation experience at all, and she loved it. I randomly found this place online when I was looking to get back into meditation a few months after I completed a Vipassana course. Although Shambhala is different, the 7:00pm class opens with an introduction and instruction to approaching this style of meditation. Note that the space itself is *behind* the Coco's. If you're facing the restaurant, to left you'll find a hall that you pass through. Make a turn towards the salon and you'll find the Meditation Center. The space is warm and clean, be sure to check in with Marilyn or Sepi at the front desk to say that you're new. You take off your shoes (you might want to wear socks) and enter the meditation hall closed off by silkscreen doors. No need to bring pillows or a bloc as very comfortable ones are already provided for you. For those who have trouble sitting cross legged or kneeling on the floor, there are three ample rows of chairs behind the floor seating. The temperature is mild--I wore a jean jacket with a t-shirt underneath and was comfortable the whole session. After practicing two sets of walking and sitting meditation, the class sat in a circle and read a chapter from The Lost Art of Good Conversation, by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. The discussion that followed provides an excellent connection between how the physical and mental exercise of meditation translates to our everyday lives. You have nothing to lose by dropping in. I hope to provide an updated review after attending one of their Saturday sessions or courses. For a fee, they have really cool contemplative arts seminars. I wanted to sign up for the Ikebana course, the study and practice of flower arranging, but they ran out of space! The best way to keep up with its events is by following its Meetup page.
