Home town place to eat. Our server was good she kept the coffee coming. Hubby got biscuits and gravy. He didn't say much about them, but he didn't like the biscuit it was hard. I played it safe French toast with strawberries and whipped cream.

We were treated warmly at the door and promptly seated. There was a nice picture of ice water on the table and I asked for some lemon. I got chicken fried chicken (a breast), real red skin mashed potatoes, carrots and peppered gravy (thick, creamy, and peppered just right). The chicken had a nice fried crunch on the outside and inside nice juicy and tender. I also got a trip to the salad bar (small) with plenty of fresh veggies. My husband got a fried chicken sandwich with ham and mozzarella with yummy BBQ sauce on the side along with a side (side salad, potato salad, fries, coleslaw, or you could upgrade to sweet potato fries and something else). He got the coleslaw. That should have made us full, but I saved room for dessert. I got cherry pie with ice cream and he got hot fudge cake with whipped cream and ice cream. Everything was so good! The service was great! The decor inside and outside was dated and needs some fixing. But don't let that deter you from eating there.

English muffin breakfast sandwich with bacon/side of hash browns

Grab a great breakfast here when leaving or arriving for that matter, in Cody . Typical diner type menu , moderately priced . Food was served hot and in a small amount of time. I had the English muffin sandwich with bacon, nice that it is served with a side of hash browns. Coffee was very good! It's the little things !!

Candy our server provided us with great recommendations and we were never wanting. Food will remind you of your Granny's.

The food wasn't terribly bad. I just didn't like the eggs on top of my corned beef hash, and there were no hashbrowns.

No the food wasn't a gourmet meal, but we had 8 people and everyone enjoyed their food. We had pot pies, burgers, Philly and a French dip. The kids spaghetti was really good too! Drinks were great.

Off season, Irma hotel and buffet are very slow but the food is definitely better than busy season (when tourists show up for yellow stone). Highly recommend the clam chowder. I know Wyoming isn't really famous for any of that but their clam chowder is very good. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, the bison ribs, and the buffalo sandwich/burger. If you don't like heavy meats, stay away from bison ribs cuz it's super heavily seasoned to cover bison's distinctive gaminess. Also it's not as tender as you want it to be. The regular burger and the steak were pretty good from Irma. It's quite consistent. Surprisingly, the fries were very good. Especially the onion rings. Give it a try, for meat lovers, this place might be a pleasant surprise. But if you are looking for more delicate presentation and more distinctive tastes, I will recommend you some other spots around town in my other reviews. Enjoy the wilderness and nature ~

Lunch wasn't a good as I remember from previous visits. The Grilled Meatloaf sandwich lacked taste,…read moreit was very bland. Maybe I'm just used to a meatloaf with more ingredients such as onions, bell peppers and some filler ( most of the time it is oatmeal). The sandwich did have pepper jack cheese and steakhouse aioli that should have lent a little flavor to the sandwich but unfortunately did not. The onion rings could have saved the day for the meal but the onions were sliced too thin and were swallowed up by batter. My wife had the Honey Bear sandwich which she said was pretty good but if she ordered it a gain she would ask for the honey mustard to be replaced with a spicy mustard (maybe call it the Grizzly Bear). The fries were very good, We'll try to get back there before we leave Cody to try another meal. Service was very good and prompt. This is a good alternative if you tire of steak and potatoes

The place was jumping on a Monday night! Nice bustling atmosphere. My side salad was super - very cold and crisp! My spaghetti and meat sauce was also very good, as was the garlic bread stick that came with it. The absolute star was the house-made carrot cake. Excellent, tasted freshly made. Highly recommend this place!
