I wanted to share this with everyone. Heartfelt Pet Cremation took care of Chloe my kitty a while ago and really help me during a bad time. Thanks Heartfelt. And for anyone that wants to know about Chloe here it goes. My cat Chloe was the most laid back and affection loving cat you ever saw. As an indoor cat and a real homebody, she didn't care to do anything but follow around the object of her attention until they finally caved in and cuddled her, no matter how busy they had been. She wasn't a very big cat or very small either, just the right size for a tabby cat. She didn't have the softest or fluffiest fur, but it was the kind you just wanted to ruffle. When you had her there, you could see in her attentive amber eyes that she didn't crave food or play, but simply your love and affection. She never got tired of being pet or quietly fawned over, but she only liked to be held for so long. She much preferred to move around on her own terms. Her fur was of all different colors; brown, black, red and white, and she'd always let you know which way she'd like you to stroke it. She had that little black tabby's 'M' on her forehead where she liked to be pet best. Stroke around spot long enough and she'd be drooling and shoving herself against you. I'm not joking when I say she was always, always ready for a good cuddle. The first thing she would do when you walked into the room was perk up, give her little meow that let you know you had her full attention and trot over. She was so expectant I could never turn her down. She was so relaxed too, I remember when the vacuum went off and she didn't even acknowledge it. This was funny, because on the first night we had her, she did a back flip out of her basket less than five seconds after it went off and shot under the couch. She liked everyone and made no secret of it...as long as you were a person. No matter what kind of animal would come along, she'd stare them down and growl until they backed off of her territory. She's scared off dogs and cats before, and was even willing to take on a pack of raccoons. She'd eat anything, but she went crazy over the canned cat food. Wave a can of that around in front of her, and she'd follow to the ends of the earth. The older she got, the less she liked to be off by herself. My mom and my grandma always told me she'd be waiting for me whenever I was away. No matter where she was, at the vets or hidden somewhere away around the house, I always recognized her special meow and purrs right away. In their most natural tone, they were low-pitched and sleepy, and the kind that always let you know you were wanted and loved. read more

My cat Strummer had been living with chronic kidney disease for about 2 years. But on Saturday 1/19, he started to act very lethargic and wasn't interested in food. After several trips to the vet and trying a whole lot of treatments, on Wednesday night, he took a pretty severe turn. My girlfriend had contacted David at Heartfelt Memories earlier in the week just in case. When we made the decision that it was time. I was very worried that it would take a long time to arrange it and that I'd have to take Strummer to the vet to end his suffering as quickly as possible. We got very lucky and David was able to arrange a vet faster than I would have thought possible. David and Dr. K arrived at my apartment and they were the picture of compassion and understanding. Dr. K asked about Strummer's medical history and confirmed that we were doing the right thing. David explained the procedure, give us some literature with helpful resources in it, and kept everything very orderly which I very much appreciated. He also asked questions about Strummer to get us focused on good memories and remember him as he was when he was healthy. Dr. K gave him a small shot to relax him and when we were ready administered the final shot. He was very gentle and very compassionate during and afterward. After he left, David allowed us to take all of the time we needed to say goodbye. When we were ready we wrapped him up in a soft blanket and David took him away. Today, David brought back his remains in a nice urn, a soft clay paw print (which is super special to me), and a nice certificate giving us his word that I got my boy back. This was the most important thing to me, and after meeting David, I absolutely trust his word. I've only written 1 or 2 other Yelp reviews so, I save them for extraordinary circumstances and companies. Heartfelt Memories, David, and Dr. K are extraordinary. I was so thankful that we picked them and that my boy got to spend his last day entirely in his room where he felt safe. That's only possible because of David. When the time comes (hopefully many years from now) and my cat Skeeter needs a last act of love, I will call David. I cannot say enough good things about Heartfelt Memories. We made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our Newfoundland Chief and we wanted him to have the most comfortable goodbye possible at our home. We called over 15 in home euthanasia places in our area and nobody was available to get us in. We were so worried we would have to say goodbye to him at the vet's office. Then we found Heartfelt Memories and they answered on the first ring. They let us know they was so sorry about our loss and was able to get us scheduled the very next day. We worked with Michael throughout the process, and from the get go he was incredibly kind and so sensitive to our feelings. He handled every single detail with the respect and dignity that Chiefy deserved. On the day we said goodbye, Michael and the doctor made us feel as comfortable as possible, walked us through all the steps, and provided us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our beautiful boy. We were so grateful to have found him and Heartfelt Memories, they made an incredibly difficult day as smooth and as calm as possible. We are so appreciative of their kindness. One week later Michael called us and let us know that "Chief is ready to come home." He hand delivered his ashes to us in a beautiful, ornate wooden box, as well as a certificate of private cremation and Chief's paw print in clay. We couldn't have asked for anyone better than Michael to walk us through this incredibly difficult event. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an at home euthanasia or cremation service for their beloved pet. On January 9th, my husband's birthday, we had to say "see you in Heaven" to our beloved Mousey. He was 18 years old and bone cancer had set it his lower jaw. As much as we love him and he us, we couldn't let him suffer any longer. We found the Heartfelt Memories phone number & website. Mr. David and his associate were able to come within a few hours. They took care of everything, from the "procedure", the transport and the private cremation. Mr. David (the owner) has a voice as soothing as an angel and helped us through that day with as much genuine care, concern and compassion we never even dreamt possible. A week later he brought our boys ashes home in a beautiful redwood box along with a certificate of private cremation, a beautiful locket with some of his ashes in it and a purrfect paw print in clay. I can't tell you how truly peaceful they helped to make his passing in the serenity of our own home where our boy wasn't scared at all. It was his time and we all knew it, including Mousey. We will miss him everyday we are still on earth, but do rejoice in knowing he'll be waiting at Heavens gates for us. I was (literally) notified that my little doggo buddy passed while on a flight back home. If you can imagine, I was frantically researching on the web using the plane's wifi to make final arrangements, all while trying to hold it together. David at Heartfelt Memories made such a difference for us this past week when our beloved family member (small dog) passed away. He arrived quickly after he was contacted and was so respectful of all of us. He seemed to really "get" how close our baby was to us and how deeply we were grieving. My Cat Thunder was 17 years old and had been a wonderful and loving friend for all that time. He was old but it was hard to say good-bye. Heartfelt Memories was the best call I made when Bela my pet lab was lost. She was only 3 years old and died from a car crash that also broke my leg. I found them on the Internet and David came over as soon as I called and took Bela to be cremated. I must have called him 10 times during the process as I missed Bella so much. This was the BEST experience during the sudden tragic loss of my friends cat Batman. He was ill and got worse over the weekend his owners planned on trying to get him into see the vet first thing Monday morning much to their surprised he passed in the night they were saddened and grief stricken. When I found Gabe my pet Collie dead last week after a long bought with cancer my vet suggested I call Heartfelt Pet Cremation to have him cremated. I would like to testify that this is a great service. David was able to come to my house for an arranged euthanasia within a couple hours. The process was explained and Dr.Knasiak arrived soon after. They were very respectful and understanding. Everything went well and my Dog was able to pass in his own bed without discomfort. My husband Gene found Heartfelt on the Internet. David met Gene at our vet and handled Jade (our cat of 12 1/2 years) very tenderly. She was picked up on a Wednesday and returned to us on the following Monday. Tully my wonderful kitty of 20 years died and my heart was broken. A friend's dog is passing and I told him about this service because we had such a good experience a few years back. Our 75 pound lab mix died in the middle of the night. It was a Sunday and we didn't know what to do. The owner arrived just a few hours after I called him and transferred her with care to the back of his vehicle.
