They added more focus on younger visitors. There's QR codes you can scan all over the place for supporting information. To do this in the same space required that some legacy exhibits downsize, but other important existing exhibits were expanded. Overall a masterful redo. And still a touch of quirky to make it all fun. Only six bucks a head for grown-ups and well worth it. Accessibility is also much improved. Lots of places to stop and rest for a visitor with a cane and there is a wheelchair on loan. Adequately wide aisles. And yes, awesome onsite raspberry jam. The stuff made by their Trappist cohorts is good too. We got the cherry preserves and they are right tasty. No visit to the Camas Prairie is complete without a stop. Nicely done folks.

And sure could have downed our breakfast and been out of there in 15 minutes, but this is one of those hunting lodges that just makes you want to kick back and stay a while. The lodge was built by the current owner, who ran a custom home business, and the grand lodge design was really well thought out, the rooms were really spacious, and we loved how the rooms above wrapped around the big open style living room. This retreat is situated above the river in a truly picturesque high desert landscape.

Homemade muffins are included with breakfast (along with coffee, homemade granola and yogurt, fresh fruit...) 4. It has an amazing collection of dog paraphernalia (books, mugs, puzzles, etc.) 5. Gift shop has chainsaw doggies you can take home (or you can custom order your own furry wooden friend, which we've done twice) 6. The park has other interesting art, all created by Frances and Dennis 7. Good water pressure. So many large hotel chains have poor water pressure, so it's always a pleasure when a small mom and pop shop make it right. And finally, Dennis and Frances are such an interesting couple to chat with. They make the place feel so welcoming and even remembered details about our lives even though it's been two years since we last stayed here. Beyond being the creators of Sweet Willy, they are what make this B&B the best we've ever been to. My boyfriend and I go out of our way to come here and it always feel like we're coming to another home. We love coming to Dog Bark Park and can't wait for our next visit.

They know the area and gave great suggestions, directions and history. Merlin is the best companion/watch dog. Breakfast Saturday morning featured farm fresh eggs from chickens on the property.
