She goes to work with me and get compliments daily on her behavior and cuteness. My sister ended up buying a puppy from the same litter and has nothing but wonderful things to say about her pooch. We both are very pleased with pups and satisfied with the entire transaction from the Seiss family. Beth and her husband seems like great people that I will do business with again if we choose to get another puppy. Very grateful for the experience and honest breaded that helped us choose the best puppy for our family. There was a strong smell of ammonia/dog in the area that they take you to play/show you the puppies. But after being a regular volunteered at plenty of animal shelters I'm positive that it's nothing to be concerned with. Beth did give me a little tour and to my surprise she was gives the mamas queen treatment. She went into depth on why each thing was as it was and how she cares for them daily, she has really put a lot of time and thought into the design of her little animal facility. After talking I was amazed to learn of the time and energy that goes into caring for these animals. I understood and had zero problem with paying what she was asking for our pups. This family appears to be putting their hearts and souls into this family business and I felt that both Beth and her husband are doing an awesome job at breading dogs for what buyers are looking for.

They make sure…read morethat all their animals find great homes and save some of them from terrible situations into much better ones with loving families. My friend actually does fostering for them and has done a few litters of kittens and puppies, so she is the one who introduced us to BHS, and we're so glad she did! Conan was my first cat (first of the two, and first ever) and we got him from BHS. He was a kitten that was part of a new litter with a young mother. They were at an overrun "kill" shelter in Arkansas, and when a rescue heard about this situation, they connected with BHS - who sprung to action. They had someone drive roundtrip from Nebraska to Arkansas to save these babies! And I can't thank them enough because one of them was my little orange man who I can't imagine not being mine. They did their due diligence with us too, to make sure we were a good fit for adopting one of their animals. We had to sign an adoption contract that included things like providing healthy food and the best care, and agreeing that we would never give him up because we were moving, and that if we WERE going to do that (never!) that we'd call them before we did anything like that and return him to BHS to find a better home for him. They also called before approving us to chat about those topics too and just make sure we were serious about adoption. Once that was all good, Conan was ours! And we heard a little while later that all five other kittens and the mother were also adopted - that's SEVEN kitties saved by BHS! Once we had Conan for a little over a year, I saw that my friend had another litter she was fostering from BHS. We decided it was time to add another kitten to the house, as we read that they can be happier in pairs. So we did another adoption with BHS that was just as smooth! We added Remy to the family and he and Conan are the best "brothers" (connected by BHS!) and friends Thank you BHS!!

They have a thorough screening procedure for potential adopters, whichis good. The adoption center is clean and the cats all have plenty of space to sleep and play. I adopted my kitten (7 months old) from them. He came with all of his shots, neutered and they gave me a free bed, blanket, toys and even food to get him started. He had been thoroughly checked for any health issues. He was chipped and it was only a small fee to switch it to my name. I am a senior so the adoption fee was only $60. That's a great price when you consider all the shots and health check, let alone the freebies that came with him. I was extra lucky that he happened to have a fabulous cat tree that was his. They didn't realize it was part of his property until a day or so later and I would never have known but they made sure I got it. They called after about a week to make sure everything was going well. Just a great place and I also like that they are a no kill shelter. Only negative is that they have fairly limited open hours.

This place is crooked as hell. My family and I went to pick up this dog named Diamond to adopt and…read morethey told us that she was on hold and would be off hold tomorrow. So my kids got all excited and couldn't even sleep they were so excited and we were there before open the next day. The doors open and they say, "sorry she is still on hold." What? We were the last ones out of the building last night. How can that be? "The manager/director has her on hold for friends. Um, okay? Isn't that ethically incorrect?! So we got our name down to get a call first if she became available after these people if it happens to not work out. So it doesn't work out with their family dog so we get a call. The call mind you, comes to me on a Wednesday at 11:10am. Of course any normal person would be at work. I answer and the lady says the dog is available and we wanted you to know. Ok, I'm at work until 4:30. She replies, "the dog is very high in demand with a lot of people interested in her. She is too popular to be put on hold." Um? What?! So I called back 1 hour later. They said "I''m sorry, she is more than likely going to a foster family right now. They're here to take her now." WTF?! F this place. They're corrupt. We tried an entire 4 days to get this dog and the place makes up rules as they go. Hope your animal friend isn't in high demand or you're screwed. Don't tell your family either, or they'll be broken hearted! Don't waste your time.
