Can't stand by their work…read more Recently had put Jackman's installed boiler serviced for the 4th time in as many years, and were told by the technician that helped us (he's very good, and I won't disparage his work) that the repair would not cost us a thing, as it was to fix a problem caused by a different technician's faulty work on installation. Lo and behold, we then received a bill for $180 for the service call. The office personnel wouldn't hear our argument about what the technician had quoted us. This wasn't the first call for a repair caused by their own shoddy installation of our boiler, either. Within the first year, we had to have a fan in the unit replaced as it was installed with wires rubbing against the fan blades. Another $180 to fix that, and nearly some very cold days spent waiting for a part with no heat. Go elsewhere.

When I asked him for receipts for the stuff he bought on line with my credit card he handed me a bunch of receipts for stuff he had bought 6 months before I had even talked about him doing the job. I still have not seen the receipts. I think they did more drinking than working, I pulled out 3 contractor bags of alcohol cans out of my basement just thrown all around.
