He's friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. I believe we were going to be taken advantage of if Dominic hadn't stepped in to work with us. After receiving multiple quotes from other contractors, not a single VERMONT company informed us about the incentives from Efficiency VERMONT- we had just moved to the area-no one had even mentioned the program to us. Dominic took no issue with downloading and sending us the proper forms. He is that vested in his company, his reputation and sincere commitment to quality customer service leaves every other competitor in the dust. I was told we would need to replace our boiler, water heater, then our heating system entirely- but, definitely need to upgrade our electrical system as a whole. One quote coming back as high as $85,000 for everything- and we supposedly needed everything or we would probably die. (Ok, not really, but it felt like we just might) Dominic walked through our home and in a little over an hour he bluntly stated most of what we were told to replace would be "completely unnecessary." I contacted them using their webform, and unfortunately,.. before reading other reviews regarding this fee that they charge and ended up passing on using them when they contacted me. There's many other excellent electricians in the area that won't charge you a penny to come by and with no obligations to use them. That's the way we ended up going and we'll still have the excellence of service at a very competitive price. I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? Lloyd's might consider a new policy for 2025, ..."your $149 estimate fee will be credited to your work", in-other-words, if you went with using Lloyd's, they would credit you that $149 back. He has a great understanding of the Efficiency VT rebates and helped me every step of the way. We were only going to do the heat pumps but Hunter saw our leaky water heater and let me know about a rebate for the water heater which made it a no brainer. Scheduling was easy, they arrived on time and kept me updated throughout. They even solved an ongoing issue with the water pressure. These guys go above and beyond.
