Very authentic. Not the largest spread of food, but all A-ok, and not corndogs. The music? World class. The crowd? Super groovy, family friendly but not oppressively so. The "no alcohol" policy? Uh- not heavily enforced b/c there are NO DRUNKS! We get there for the hot air balloon show Sat, & always stay through the last gasp on Sunday. DO NOT MISS the dance tent in back: always a band you are glad to discover back there. Bring a cooler, and an umbrella and sunscreen and GET A PARKING PASS EARLY! (even tho there's a free shuttle to parking as of this year.)

The owners, Susan and Larry, were very welcoming and helpful with local information. I always drive through in the winter for the beautiful sunrise over the mountains in the distance. Never seen it in the fall before and it was busy! Too be expected as my buddy owns Fern Valley Farm in Wilbraham so I already have my apples for the year. But, my girlfriend and I stopped for some cider and a cider donut at one of the stands off to the side in the parking lot. I had a cider lemonade which I enjoyed. Babe had a regular cider which was not to her liking as, in my opinion, coming from Michigan there is a lot of culture she's getting used to around here. The museum is super cool and very small, but worth checking out. At the time of writing this, tickets are only $5 each. Well worth it. It's run by all volunteers too. There's several train pieces on the property including a caboose that you can go inside, as well as 4 or so other pieces that you can see and read about but aren't safe to go inside yet. There's also a hand cart you can operate which is so fun! It really picks up speed too. The trolley ride itself is fun! The tour guide has a ton of knowledge and explains the history of trolley cars, trains, and freight at the time the trolley was in operation. This was such a neat experience!

This museum has a few trolleys which have not been restored, but they have Trolley Car No. 10 which was a locally run trolley. The staff and conductors here are polite and more than willing to tell you the history of Car 10. Overall, this tiny museum has a ton of history attached and I love the fact that it is located in such a beautiful area.
