Heather has magic hands. I came to her when I was about 6 months pregnant because I was having really bad sciatica in my lower back. I thought I wasn't going to be able to walk at 9'months pregnant because it was so bad at times. My pelvis kept rotating because of the way my baby sat inside my belly. I also had a lot of shoulder knots and I was exhausted because I have an energetic toddler at home. Her touch is firm enough to get the knots out and be satisfying, but soft enough to allow you to fall into a deep sleep. It's perfect and restorative. I came in for some post natal massages as well. I enjoyed the castor oil pack because I had problems with constipation after my pregnancy and it really helped with that. Luckily the sciatica mostly went away after I had my baby, but it doesn come back every now and then. Most recently it flared up and wasn't going away even after I had a chiropractic adjustment which helps too. As soon as she massaged me it went away and it was such a relief because I get really sharp lower back pains that can make me limp sometimes. I will be back. read more

There are a lack of good prental focused massage therapists around. I have gone to a bunch of crap corporate chains who do "prental massage" aka half assed massaged bc they are afraid to hurt a preggo woman. My doula retired from her massage aspect, so I was on the hunt. I cannot begin to say thank you to Heather. I have been going to Heather for about four years now may be fat if I met her at another location accidentally they had double booked me and I ended up having Heather but that was it I refuse to go to anyone else she is beyond knowledgeable, understanding, knows what she's talking about. So my journey begins about five years ago my husband and I were trying to have a child and did everything it's a long story so I'm going to make it short. But needless to say once I found Heather there is a fertility MASSAGE and I had asked her about it and she said let me look into it and let's go from there. She looked into it and found it took the class and did her study on me. One of the sessions definitely take a commitment but if you're serious about it they really help. We did it for about three or four months consistently. She got me ready for my first transfer. love heathers touch! i've been to her twice now for a prenatal massage.. once during early second trimester and once again @30 weeks. both times she made sure i was as comfortable as can be. she has a special pillow that has a cutout for the stomach so you can lay on stomach without hurting the baby. the room is comfortable /clean/ relaxing. i'm not sure what she uses for the massage but it's not greasy or overly scented. as a first time mommy to be my body was in need of light pressure massage and she delivered. the baby seemed to love the strokes because every time she massaged my side the baby would love like crazy. it was still relaxing massage and i intend to hopefully go back once more before my due date. if not i will def be back post baby. read more
