With smart HVAC I called about 730pm after obtaining the appointment notification through the warranty company to confirm my appointment. Not only did they answer, the narrowed my appointment window. Victor was our service technician. He arrived on time and was able to process payments via phone. I am an active Solider not in the area that was extremely important to me. Ultimately I had a clogged drain and it was not covered by my warranty as it's considered maintenance. Really enjoyed the experience of company. I've never had such a great experience. I also inquired about their service plans and decided to purchase the service plan to conduct the regular maintenance for the furnace and A/C units. Highly recommend.

He gave me a very expensive quote (almost $1000 including the initial service call) but I had no choice - it was an emergency. He came back a couple of days later with the part. Over the next few days the heat went out intermittently. They came back out and said there was nothing wrong with the boiler and it might be the thermostat and that they would get me a quote. They never did. I had another heating guy come out he found a loose connector in the boiler. He fixed it and that took care of issue. It was a $200 fix and was likely the problem to begin with since the symptoms before Salazar "fixed" the unit were the same as afterwards. I also had Salazar come out to give me quotes on installing heat pump systems and they never sent the quotes nor replied and I followed up about them.

So instead we had to pay a different HVAC technician to come and fix it on one of the coldest days this winter. We called multiple times and left many messages with no follow up. We understand it's busy and we need their help because we aren't hvac technicians ourselves - but this isn't how to treat customers. We had to replace our water heater and he gave us a competitive quote for installing a 50 gallon Bradford White water heater. The installation was performed perfectly. 2. The bigger project was the installation of 2 exhaust/air intake vents through our roof for the installation of a portable A/C unit in our loft. He helped to describe the scope of the project to our HOA and management company to obtain prior approval. He was very flexible with the suggested solutions.
