It tastes like Chinese buffet pizza." My husband, who tries never to complain about food, said his chicken club tasted extremely burnt. I tried it and spit it out because it was so bitter. The pasta was just so very sad, and the garlic toast that came with it was even sadder. My fish and chips were not great either. No one liked the cold fries. We almost finished everything because it was late, we were starving, we're not necessarily picky, and the portions were extremely small. Again, my daughter liked her wings, so there's that. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I also don't like paying a decent amount for bad food in this economy. When first opened NR was the first microbrewery to prepare and offer their own food, and the bbq was stellar, but I cannot make that same statement today. Brews are still good, but if need a good microbrewery in Chattanooga that can offer you good food to go along with that cold one, my recommendation is either Oddstory or Five Wits. I'll continue to come to NR for a beer, as their Moonpie Stout is absolutely one of the best beers you can find in Chattanooga, but like I said if I am hungry too, this will no longer be one of my primary spots to consider.

We had our dog with us and quickly learned that pets aren't allowed inside or even on the regular inside patio, but they do have a small dedicated picnic table area out to the left for people with dogs. The staff was even nice enough to bring out a water dish for him, which was a really great touch. As for the food, you definitely get a plentiful amount for what you pay. We ordered the sampler platter--which comes with a massive pretzel, three little brats on buns, and kraut balls--as well as the Jager Schnitzel with sides of potato salad and spaetzle. The pretzel platter and the spaetzle were good, and the whole place has an awesome atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out, just keep an eye on a couple of the food details. After relaxing and admiring the venue our host provided us with colored markers to add our names to the wall, which we did. I spoke to one of the founders of the bar who was an avid climber and his brother a surfer, who said the name of brewery Greenline derived from the previous business which was a deli. They restored the space which has some interesting words written on the historic brick walls - the profanity had to be hidden. The bar also had other beer offerings, which we did not try. My talk with Chris St Vrain, revealed how the brothers designed the jackets of their beers: Allenbrook with its rope designs on it and named after a secluded Roswell climbing wall; and Shirtless after his brothers' love of the salt life. We hung out for a short while and felt very refreshed. Nicole and I really enjoyed our time at this bar and hope to be back soon.

The 2nd level patio provides a great view of Main St. You can tell the staff take pride in working there. I also enjoy seeing the owner there frequently talking with guests and engaging.
