Cute brewery right on the river. Gorgeous view. Lots of interesting drink options. We had the Beerchuterie board. We wouldn't get that again. The cheese curds were an odd consistency and way too spicy. Overall just way too salty to enjoy, even with a cold beer

French dip on croissant was amazing, as was the turkey club (the bacon was the star here). Beer was great, especially the citrus radler, and sitting by the river with Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead in the background added up to make a perfect lunch stop for our wanderings.

We were greeted quickly by beer-tenders who were happy to let us try a beer or two before we made our decisions. We were not unhappy with any of the brews! This brewery is right on the river so it has a lovely view and had a nice chill vibe outside. They don't have their own food but they did have a great biscuit food truck the day we visited and the prices were reasonable. My only complaint would be the noise level inside. It was a smidge cold so we thought we would go inside to eat/deink. However, there were a few families inside with their children who were being wildly loud and obnoxious. The brewery offers a skeeball type game as well as a long table top shuffleball type game. The kids were all playing these games with Gusto! I imagine that is a huge perk to many people traveling with kids. Sadly though the insulation is such that the combined noise of all of these things (kids screaming, hard balls being rolled and slammed into the ground, and discs being slammed on the table) was a lot overwhelming in such a small place.

    French Dip Croissant is bangin!!!!!!

Food is on another level. Clearly better ingredients make for better food. imagine that. Beer is delicious. Atmosphere is the best in Ellijay.

This brewery is a diamond in a dozen. A beautiful location right next to the river, that even on a cold day-you'd still want to visit. The beer is good, and the food is even better. Top that with the amazing view- this is a place I would visit every day if I was local. Not to mention, the service here is wonderful! The beertenders were very sweet, and were patient with me and my family when ordering beer. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious! The fries were seasoned well, and I liked them even though they were steak fries (I'm personally more of a thin fry type of gal) and the fish was crispy and flakey. The remoulade the fish came with was packed with flavor and really made the fish and chips taste that much better. They forgot the vinegar but it wasn't really needed with that remoulade. The pork belly sliders were a perfect combination of sweet, fatty and savory. The sliders are probably one of the best things I have eaten in a long time, and I will come back to get those again. The nachos were okay but not the star of the show by any means. I'd highly recommend going for the fish and chips and the pork belly sliders to anyone who hasn't been here before! I'll be back to this brewery again, that's for sure.

Great beer and a great experience. Nice chill vibe for relaxing when I was there, I could see it getting loud when they throw parties and have live music. Really enjoyed my visit. Best of all was the brewery cat named Midnight. She's a sweetheart!

Hubby and I came to Ellijay for a long weekend. A coworker had suggested we stop here, so we did. So glad we did. Really nice place. The owner was behind the counter, pouring and letting you try different beers. We're not IPA people, so lots of breweries can be disappointing with non-IPA beers. Not here. The ultra blonde was absolutely delicious. Not only was the beer great, but the customers were great too. We got into so many conversations with everyone there. The view of the Cartecay River was so peaceful. When we walked in it was raining hard. That lasted 10 minutes. After that the sun came out, and it was beautiful on their patio. Please always say hello to their employee of the month, Midnight. I can definitely say we'll be back. It's a short ride from Atlanta for a day trip.

    Patio seating is great

There was quite a wait! But it's so worth it. Got a burger. Wings. The fried ribs and ended the night with pecan pie. Amazing!

A very charming unassuming little boutique store front with some tee shirts and souvenirs when you first walk in. Then you whisper the magic password and the gentleman escorts you through a narrow little doorway, a vestibule and door then opens to a perfectly recreated 1920's prohibition speakeasy. The motif is perfect from vintage art work on the wall to the hanging chandeliers and the big leather couches and chairs all in a very dark lighting. There is one way glass so you can see whoever comes into the store ( police or significant other) but they can't see you! Lol. And you can't leave through the front where you came in. You are guided to the back of the establishment to the back door which lets out into a narrow gangway then to the alley. I think Al Capone himself was going to jump out at me. lol. The bartenders/ mixologists further raise your experience by providing enjoyable banter and well made cocktails. Espresso Martini's and a Donut Raspberry Cheesecake were the drinks and dessert of choice and both were amazing. If you wind up going I suggest for you gals, a flapper dress with the beads and sequins with a cocoon coat and some tee strap heels. Guys your fanciest fedora and some two tone lace up oxfords. Either way you're gonna have a Roaring 20's great time. Let me know if you're interested and I'll tell the password or yiu you have dinner upstairs at The Roof, tell them you want the password for The Door.

Not real big but we made a reservation a day ahead. I loved the Appetizers - shrimp and jalapeños - crispy with a sauce kinda like bang bang shrimp, but better. Brother had a half wedge salad and loved it. The fried Brussels were very tasty with Parmesan cheese and bacon with a Balsamic drizzle. No bread served with the meal, but it wasn't missed. I ordered Blackened salmon with couscous. It was good, cooked properly, but when I tasted my sisters trout, I wished I had ordered it. Panko crusted with collard greens. It was the best. Crispy on the outside, tender on inside and not a real fishy taste. All had a bit of a balsamic juices had seeped into all from the collard greens, which was good but prefer more savory flavors. But enjoyed it immensely. The Roasted chicken was just okay with mashed potatoes. But the best thing of the evening was the apple bread pudding with salted Carmel Ice Cream (Not pictured). A great meal in the North Georgia Mountain area.
