Chicken Pot pie to die for, but I have been pleased with everything I have had here. (The 30 minute drive from my home to get here is well worth my time.) They offer an embarrassing assortment of delicious desserts that I have shamelessly sampled, but my favorite..the Chocolate cake, it's SO decedent and portions are Hugh ! So I'm 25 it's 100 degrees out I'm wearing basic shorts not too short and a basic crop top with a inch of my mid drift showing. As soon as me and my mother walked in the man seating tables looked at me up and down with a rude look and sat me and her in the EMPTY back room when there was plenty of seating in the main dining room. And as I was seated I asked if they made mimosas and he rudely said "no alcohol". Like okay fine that's cool, me and my mom just got a basic breakfast because I don't even know how to cook and I can cook a descent breakfast. How can they mess that up right? WRONG. Even the toast was bad, potatoes were raw in the middle. Also can we talk about the decor. It's honestly funny how bad everything was. But yea -5 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend. Heaven on earth is a ironic name for this place lol. Also my mom's breakfast sucked too, raw potatoes, gravy was milky, sausage was too salty and looked/tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. I stopped here on a day the restaurant was closed but did buy some goodies from their store. When you walk in, the smell is divine and really might be Heaven on Earth. Lots and lots of choices, could be a little overwhelming with the variety of selection. Today, my family decided to stop here for lunch. We enjoyed a HUGE cinnamon roll to share, it had just come out of the oven and was delicious. We ordered the chicken fried steak with country gravy, potato medley and the Cajun chicken salad, side of pot pie soup. Both entrees came with a biscuit and apple butter or Marion berry, which were good. The potato medley and chicken fried steak were yummy, the Cajun chicken salad was okay. I travel across America with my dogs. Heaven on Earth is not only my favorite place in Oregon to stop, it's in my top 3 favorites Nationwide! Considering I'm in nearly 500 restaurants yearly, that says a lot. They really go out of their way to make you feel "at home." Most importantly, the food and bakery items are ALWAYS well prepared with lots of Love! The service is exceptional... My server, Amanda, is always attentive and has a great personality! The owner chased me outside one time to give me a bag of homemade cookies before I left as a treat for the road. Being from Georgia, I promise y'all...these are just plain good folks with great food in a beautiful cabin-like setting! read more

OMG. Stop here. At first, we were like "would these people be welcoming to Californians"? OMG their hospitality is impeccable! We were offered samples of cookies, given dollar bills to use as "honorable coupons" for the bakery, and were immediately drawn to the smells of the cinnamon rolls. The Cinnamon rolls!! Cinnabon got nothing on these peeps. They are bigger than the kids heads! And they come out fresh out of the oven! And they are divine in your mouth. We ate at the restaurant, it's like eating good ole American food fresh out of the kitchen! Salads were crisp, pies were melt in your mouth and sandwiches were delicious. We paid under $100 for a family of 7. I would recommend having kids share a kids meal if your kids are skinny like mine and don't eat much because portion size are still big. We came for a quick bite and the cinnamon roll. The soups were pretty good, the portions enormous, and the waitstaff friendly. We didn't get much, so I can't comment on their breakfast or sandwich menus. The two soups we got were the pot roast and the chicken pot pie. I liked the chicken pot pie better -- it was warm and thick and exactly the kind of comfort food I was looking for on the road. The portions were gargantuan -- we got the "cup," which turned out to be a large shallow bowlful of soup, and it came with one "dinner roll," large enough to be sliced up into 4 pieces. Ok so to all the negative reviews on the restaurant. This place is known for big fat delicious cinimon rolls. They also have pies and snicker doodle cookies. I passed by here on the way back to California from Scappoose! I saw it and just had to have a cinnamon roll. We stopped to eat "brunch" and the food was good, not amazing, but good. The marionberry jam and apple butter was amazing! After we all got the smaller size rolls. I got cinnamon and my grandfather ordered the pecan. Both were really hot, gooey and delicious! My grandpa feel head-over-heals with their butter pickles. He is sad they don't sell them online, but he bought a few jars to hold him over for a while. This is a review for the cinnamon rolls, which is what this place is known for. I dined in and had a small cinnamon roll with pecan on top (NOT the ones the side of your head), warmed with butter and was left disappointed. the cinnamon roll tasted like it was a tiny step above something you would find at the grocery store (I know yelp prefers mom and pop places over chain restaurants but I honestly thing the big cinnamon giant's--you know who I'm talking about-- cinnamon rolls puts the ones at this establishment to shame). It was a standard cinnamon roll, a little on the dry side even with the melted butter on top. Lastly, I think $7 for a small cinnamon roll is on the steep side, especially if I can run to a bakery in my hometown and get one for a fraction of the price and many times better. I have heard that the dinners here are homemade and tasty so I might revisit and try that if I'm in the area. Overall, if you're thinking about coming here for the cinnamon rolls, I would advise against that to save yourself the disappointment. read more

This place is super quiet and peaceful. Everything us freshly made and the size if the Cinnamon Rolls are insane. The menu is not fancy and nothing really to write home about, but the staff are super friendly and the view of all the beautiful trees outside is so nice. My boyfriend and I are road-tripping from southern California and found this place online. The reviews don't even do it justice to how incredible the food was. Everything just melts in your mouth and is flavored so well. We came in for breakfast and got country fried steak and the trucker omelet and were blown away at how delicious everything was. Don't skip out on the fresh biscuits with apple butter. To finish we got the caramel pecan cinnamon roll. We were so full but couldn't stop ourselves from having at least a few bites. It was incredible! They really know what they're doing there. To top it all off, we had amazing and attentive service from the entire staff. Our server was so kind and our coffees and waters stayed full the entire meal. We bought some pickles on the way out that I tried in the car in the parking lot and they are amazing as well!! Stopped here at 3pm on a Tuesday. There were only a couple of people inside. The staff was friendly. I wanted to try the chicken pot pie soup, but didn't want a full dinner. They gave me a cup of soup and a "roll" for $6.95. The soup was delicious. The "roll" was a small loaf of country white bread that I couldn't finish.
