Our waitress was kind, patient, and great with all 4 of my kids, their ages ranging from 3 to 13. I apologize for not remembering her name driving all night from Hanford California, will have that effect. The food was delicious, I ordered the 4 pc bacon, with hash browns and 2 eggs. It also came with toast I chose sourdough. Everything was cooked perfect. My oldest daughter ordered the homemade cinnamon roll. What they don't tell you is that they serve massive portions. I uploaded a picture of my daughter's cinnamon roll. We took it to go, we spent the next 3 days picking away at it every time we opened the fridge. This place was super busy on a Saturday morning. Roseburg is a small town and you can tell it's a local favorite. They have a private parking lot but, it was full, so you have to find limited street parking. As busy as they were, the service was great. I've always heard about Liver and & Onions and wanted to try it. Even though it was off the senior menu, she allowed me to order it. Probably because I also ordered the breakfast combination #8. I really like Casey's and I will knock on wood after I say this, but I'm so grateful that out of all the family food style restaurants Roseburg has had that this one has not closed down because we don't have that many in this town. Food was very nice service was very nice. The waitress was very bubbly And the audience was again fun 50 style, but the noise level was over the top. That's the only thing I have to say about it is that with my hearing loss it still wasn't enough to drowned out all the talking in loud vocals, etc., but that doesn't stop me from going back cause of food is something worth returning back to time and time again thank you so much read more

Found Casey's while traveling through Oregon. We were looking for something gluten free. We ended up doing g takeout. They did have a couple of options including gluten free pancakes. They were pretty good but they are really thick. The omelette was so-so. Even after being in a container for 15min, the cheese wasn't melted. We weren't given any plasticware and one pancake syrup. With that said, the service was great. Our server was friendly. We sat at the front counter and were helped right away. The inside looks a lot like an old school diner featuring Coca-cola and old car. They definitely showed a political leaning including stickers and Tshirts featuring large pics of Trump. Wow! This place is loud!! Loud with the sounds of laughing and people getting into their conversations, a throwback to a time when life was less complicated. Speaking of 'Throwback'. This is a diner, most definitely a diner. Almost expect to see Flo from that TV show to come up and give you a piece of her mind! I loved every minute of this loud, no frills, waitstaff familiarity with the customers combined with being called hon, or sweetie, wow do I miss those days. Oh yeah, they have food here.... The menu was surprisingly well stocked with 6 pages of options and items to choose from. They serve breakfast all day but I opted for the Philly cheesesteak with fries. This was an authentic Philly from the bread to the crisp skirt steak with a slice of melted cheese, red and green bell peppers, it had all the right ingredients. The service was definitely on par with the theme and the food was quite good. It was fresh and served piping hot. Staff was very friendly and checked on us often. Definitely no frills. None of those obnoxious digital table top credit card readers, nope. They are normal, just slap the ticket on the table and pay at the register on your way out hon. Quite possibly the most relaxed I've been in an eatery in a long time. Would have been 5 star for all the laughter and joviality of the octogenarians, but I had a hard time hearing myself! While I understand the price of eggs is high, charging an additional $1 PER egg on your order is price gouging. Casey's, your customers came to your aid during Covid and helped you stay open and now you gouge them? The Good, the bad and the ugly The good was the service. She's as very friendly and efficient. I can see why there are regulars there The bad is the food. It was just not great and barely good. I ordered two eggs hasbrowns and toast. The hashbrowns were mushy and not cooked other than the edges. The eggs were good and they used a pound of butter on my toast. I had the Waffle Breakfast it came with 2 sausage links, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 scrambled eggs, it was absolutely Huge, I couldn't not even eat half and I couldn't take it with me because I had earns to run! If this was a 5-Star Restaurant, I might deduct a star for ambiance, and this is to only critique that I have about this establishment. Casey's has the feel of a mom and pop Restaurant or diner. Both the food and service were EXCELLENT! The proportions were great and I left food on my plate one time and took home a to-go tray on my second trip here. (I hardly ever leave food (good food - that is) on my plate.) The food was so good that we came back for a second meal. (We were traveling and camping nearby). I had heard about Casey's a few months ago. Very friendly people work there and how they care about their patrons and providing good food and service. I was on my way to Ashland when I remembered some friends telling me to stop in when I pass by Roseburg so I did. Very welcoming when I walked in, the waitress was prompt and brought me a glass of water and menu. The bathrooms were clean and the tables clean. I ordered the Pacific Cod which was grilled and really delicious! I love having the ability to get fish not fried. and a side salad w/ ranch dressing. Of course I heard they bake their own pies from scratch and because it is apple season...I had to get a slice of apple pie! Delicious! Next time I'm bringing a few friends from Ashland w/ me so they can patron these good folks on their way to visit me. read more

We used to love Casey's; not so much anymore. The food was always excellent, good portions and good service. The restaurant was always a little grimy, but it was something that could be overlooked for a family favorite. The last several times we dared to go in it was bad all around. Service was poor, everyone is packed together, the food was mediocre, and they feel the need to shove their political views down your throat which is something I can do without. Being a disabled American Veteran of mediterranean descent with a service dog told not to come back no dogs allowed even when I showed an ADA service dog registration,I had eaten there several times before food is expensive quality depending on what you order ok average to below average meal. if you're a local regular you get good service otherwise expect to get service after everyone else that comes in after you! Thanks to Yelp and the reviews of others we stopped in as we were traveling through. Agree that the building is not what attracts you but most local spots are not- it's the food and the feeling that is where the locals eat. It did not disappoint. Burger cooked well with some crispness on the outside and yummy fries! All the tables getting breakfast foods looked great as well but we wanted lunch. We are loyal customers Casey's Restaurants. I was shocked when I went to pay with my debit card, which I always do, and I was charged an extra .50 with no explanation. I did notice they had moved to a new payment system. Not a fan of having to pay extra to save a company the extra process of having to go make a deposit. My biggest concern is on our last visit we were told to take a seat. There was 3 in our party. After about 5 minutes we we received water and got a Coke for our grandson. We waited another 15 minutes while watching another group have their order taken and was served. You have raised your prices, cut your hours and days, and are short handed. We supported you for over 40 years, throughout the pandemic, and even with you being short staffed but enough is enough. We will be taking our business to a company that appreciate it. We went today because of the rating! Big disappointment! First it was freezing, then the girl brought our waters an spilled them she didn't even know! We had to use our napkins to clean it up. Then she brings the coffee an runs off before I could ask for a spoon and sugar! The employees were not talking to each other but they would yell out to each other! Finally we ordered, we waited 40 mins, watching people come and go who came in after us! We decided to go leaving coffee money on the table...as we we're leaving they ran up an said our food was coming... sorry but after 40 minutes I have no confidence it's coming....
