We ordered our wedding cake here and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. We did a 2 tier round cake with vintage piping in all white, serving about 65 people, with a chocolate mousse flavor and it was so good! It was not only beautiful but actually tasted amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests. Communication with Olivia was super easy, she helped guide the design, and the at home tasting was such a nice touch. Delivery and setup were completely stress free and everything was on time. We come to the Ventura area one or two tubes a year drink Arizona. ALWAYS make a trip to Heavenly Cakes for their amazing donuts! My hubby has been buying donuts from them for over 30 years and has NEVER had a disappointing donut!! He told them today that he considers a dozen donuts from Heavenly Cakes better money spent than a steak dinner! If you've never tried their donuts, you need to do so immediately! I Bought 24 cupcakes and became disappointed as soon as I opened the box. I saw poor quality cupcakes that appeared to be made with little or no effort. They did not meet the visual expectations we discussed (which was a very rushed and disinterested conversation from Olivia). Each cupcake looked different and was not visually pleasing. I paid over $2 a cupcake that tasted like they came from a box. She did not take transport into consideration. The cupcakes were placed in a larger box than needed, with no regard to structure, so they toppled over in the short, straight 2-minute drive to my house. I had to reconstruct about half of them by reapplying the frosting and strategically redecorating them myself. read more

Heavenly Cakes is the best! Monie and Olivia are the sweetest most genuine people ever. We come in and enjoy their large menu and just chatting with them. Heavenly Cakes is just what it is "Heavenly!" I called to order a cake the other day from Olivia. She is always so nice. I needed a cake for my friend's 97th birthday. Her name is Cherry so I asked her to put some Cherries on top. She suggested a Black Forest cake because it has cherries in and on top. I ordered the sugar-free vanilla oat latte, and my brother-in-law got the cold brew with milk. I also picked up a Dubai chocolate cookie and a chocolate croissant. The coffee never disappoints--there's so much flavor in every sip, with a subtle hint of honey that really stands out. You honestly just have to try it. They also offer seasonal drinks and fun specialty drinks, including ones with cereal, which adds a unique touch. The pastries are just as amazing. The cookie was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, just right. The chocolate croissant, especially when warmed, is incredible. The chocolate melts perfectly, giving you the perfect bite every time. Overall, the food is great and the coffee is outstanding. Customer service is just as impressive. Ethan is usually there whenever I stop by, and he's always so welcoming and patient, especially when we take our time deciding on drinks. He never disappoints. They now lock the bathroom door so you will need to get a code from the counter but it's more and more common in Oxnard to see this.
