worst service ever. I placed 2 orders to be delivered 5/11/25 on Mothers Day. I never got a conformation email stating they got my order but the money was taking out my account right away. I called on mothers day @ 9:30 AM to inform them of this asking for a confirmation email i was told that they are behind and haven't confirm any orders. I called back again at 4PM they all keep giving you the run around and never answered my question so i waited patiently. Now come monday the day after mothers day is the day they thought was appropriate to send my delivery with no real explanation. Today was our first time using Heavenly Flowers -- We don't live in the area and we needed flowers (same day) to help a celebrate a relative's birthday. Maria, the owner, was incredibly friendly, helpful and patient (the message for our card was a bit long) and assured me that our flowers would be delivered on the same day, by 3pm. I purchased two arrangements for Mother's Day, the Perfectly Pink (Deluxe) and the Blooming Blues, to be specific. One arrangement arrived a day early, but I viewed it as having urgency, even though it slightly took away from the Mother's Day experience. Ultimately, both arrangements arrived dead or atleast at a lower quality than expected and promised by the florist website. In both arrangements, there were multiple flowers wilting and brown. Were the flowers in extreme heat/cold conditions? No. I contacted the florist for a partial refund or store credit and I was denied after the manager stated the flowers were not dead. Although, both arrangements were entirely dead before a week, which is truly unacceptable for the amount of money I paid. I would also like to add that the manager did not speak directly to me and only through a store employee. The quality of flowers and customer service at this establishment is truly in question for me. We weary of placing orders during high seasons like Mother's Day. The florist's pride & passion is reflected in every floral arrangement! They do not skimp on the bouquets by filling them with garbage greenery or baby breath nor do they rip you off. On Friday Feb. 12th at 1230pm, I decided to send my wife flowers for Valentines Day which was Sunday. Since I know my wife likes to get flowers at work, it also gets me points with her co-workers, I had until 2:30pm to get them to her school where she works. I called the closest flower shop to her job and it was Heavenly Flowers of Freeport. I believe I spoke to Christina who promised me my wife would get the flowers before 2:30pm. I placed an order for 3 dozen red roses and crossed my fingers she would get them. Well I worried for no good reason. Not only did Christina have them delivered at 2:15pm, she delivered them herself. To make this story even better when I called the school and spoke to the secretary, she told me not only were they delivered but they were the prettiest arrangement of flowers that they ever saw in the office. When my wife got to the office, she called me with tears of joy in her voice. She loved, loved the flowers. When she brought them home she was still in tears and was so very impressed with the arrangement and the quality of roses. The photo I post was just taken, almost one week later and they still look stunning. If you ever need flowers on Long Island you should call Heavenly Flowers[also known as JC Flowers on some web-sites]. REMEMBER, it is a franchise so make sure you call the correct Heavenly Flowers on Merrick Rd in Freeport. Ask for Christina since she did wonderful for myself and my wife. So, I ordered Santa Paws arrangement for my aunt who lives in Merrick to be delivered on her birthday for a surprise. Well, she was surprised alright! Her birthday is on December 24th, and this florist delivered the flowers 20 days early... on December 4th. The card even indicated that the delivery was to be made on December 24th when the order arrived at her residence, There is simply no excuse for such incompetence. They ruined a carefully planned birthday surprise! Be wary of this florist. They obviously pay little attention to detail. read more
