The rest of the experience was miserable due to the level of discomfort she experienced by the arrival of an unfamiliar male now administering treatment to her body. It's not a gender issue-it's an issue with the completely unprofessional failure to disclose very important details about the therapy without allowing her the opportunity to then decide whether to proceed BEFORE the male was in the room. Because of this lack of transparency and failure to disclose a detail that would've influenced our booking and purchasing decision, we will not book any future services here. The staff told me I had enough for 7 or 8 facials. I told them to freeze my membership so I could use my points first. They agreed and booked me for 04/26/2025. I showed up today for my appointment and was blindsided. The OWNER herself demanded my credit card info again, and when I reminded her of the call I had with her staff about freezing my membership, she smugly said their "system changed on Monday" and they couldn't see my points anymore. When I pushed back, the owner started changing her story -- suddenly saying, "Oh, you say you called maybe 10 days ago? I think our system changed the previous Monday, the 14th." Total LIE. I just checked my phone -- I called them on the 18th, days after their supposed "system change." They knew what they were doing and still promised me I could use my points. I was furious. I raised my voice because this is flat-out theft. They charged me all year and now refuse to provide the services I paid for. Instead of showing any kind of apology or trying to help, the owner coldly told me they could give me one facial today and that's it. No compassion, no effort to make things right. The front desk manager did a fantastic job of explaining how it would go. 60mins of body sculpting with the wood tools and cupping then 30mins of infrared sauna (in a different room). The massage therapist was wonderful. I asked her to relieve the tension in my neck before she started the thigh body sculpt. I nearly melted on the table when she used the hot stones on my back it felt so great. The body sculpting was awesome, left no bruising and I could see a difference when I got home.
