I went back to my natural chocolate brown with mild blond highlights. My hair looks so much better. I see Danielle again this weekend for a Keratin straightener treatment. I'm really excited. I just went in towards the end of may hoping to get my hair braided to keep from having to do it every morning before work. I scheduled my appointment online, like I've done in the past no biggie right?!. The earliest appointment i see available is at 9am, I'm like perfect i like to be in and out first thing in the morning plus I had to be in San Jose by 2:30. Upon arriving the shop is fully bodied with ladies already getting there hair done including by Yoshi. She tells me to have a seat she'll be with me shortly. Ok, no problem. She was about 15-20 minutes into my appointment when they lady who's hair she was doing left. I finally seat in the chair, hoping this can be done in the 2 hours it had listed online. Not even half way into my hair the lady who's hair she was doing returns to continue her hair. I sit back down another 30-45 minutes. While waiting another client walks in and Yoshi attends to them by washing the girls hair. Still waiting, she finally finishes the first clients hair then I sit back down. Then she returns to the 2nd clients hair to blow dry all while I'll still waiting. I ask how long will it be due to having somewhere else to be. She said she would finish right away. I showed Yoshi a picture from online for how I wanted my hair. What I ended up with was nothing of the sort. She did only what she wanted to do. I have no design and my braids look big and bulky. Hard to believe I only had them in for 1 day. I had to keep them in for the day since I had somewhere to be. It killed me though. The top middle braids was sooooo tight I could hardly laugh or enjoy myself. By the end of the day I had a huge headache. It was just disappointing to have asked for one style and not receive it at all. I feel like I wasn't valued as a client especially with her attending to people during my appointment time who arrived after me. When taking that final look in the mirror I could have cried. Wasting all the time waiting just to see the final style and it's not a style at all... Ugh!
