(Thankfully she had an opening but reservations are recommended as they are very busy). May did a fantastic job and the pedicure was professional and careful in all aspects of the service. Great experience. I got a dip manicure, and it is the best one I've had so far. He did a careful job, and asked my opinion about certain steps to make sure I got what I was expecting. The salon was clean and tidy. I was very comfortable. There was only one other customer in while I was there. They were very accommodating because I had to bring my son with me. Very disappointing. My mom and I went in to get our nails done on Tuesday. I got a full set with gel and she got a mani-pedi. The workers were nice, the shop was quiet, and the experience was fine. My nails looked great for the first couple days. On Friday (just a few days later), my mom and I went to the beach. At one point, there was a big wave and one of my acrylics just popped off. I have never had this issue with my acrylics before. If they DO pop off, it's 2-3 weeks after they are applied. Today, Saturday, I was walking around a gift shop when I picked up a keychain and ANOTHER acrylic popped off. After paying almost $50 and tipping them well, they only lasted a couple days. At my nail place back home, they last weeks. Not worth the money. Take your business somewhere else. read more

This is a clean, modern and cozy little nail salon owned by locals Tien and his wife. I was pleased with the available hand sanitizers and plexiglass dividers on the manicure tables; and Tien wore a mask to make me feel extra safe. The owner in this nail salon is BEYOND rude. I was trying to explain to her how I like I have my nails done and all she could do was interrupt me and talk over me in an extremely irritated voice. I finally said I would prefer if someone else did my nails and she said, "if you don't like it leave." If you're looking for a place where people will treat you nicely on your vacation while you enjoy the treat of your nails being done. Don't go here. I was attended to by the owner who made sure I was happy with the color by actually painting one nail before I committed to it. I tried to get a pedicure at this salon today. When I entered, there was an empty chair and a nail tech sitting on her phone without a client. I was refused service because the receptionist said he was waiting for a client in 25 minutes. I asked if I could receive a polish change instead and he chuckled and said he didn't 'have time for that'. I've been getting pedicures for over 20 years and in my entire life I've never heard of a polish change taking that long. Perhaps if I had asked my blonde, green eyed husband to ask for one on my behalf the response would have been more accommodating. read more

I really can't believe this place ever got four or five stars. I must have had a very different nail tech, because my nails look like they were painted by a five year old, are super jagged, and she filed more of my skin than my nail. I will be shocked if the polish lasts more than three days. She was obviously no where near a professional and did I poor job. I was very disappointed after reading all of these positive reviews. I was in need of a manicure & pedicure and Heavenly Nails was more than accommodating with my booking that I ended up having to change at short notice. The salon is clean overall and was very quiet inside, which I enjoyed. The staff was friendly and greeted us upon arrival, gave us time to choose colors, everything you would expect upon entering. Where my experience starts to go downhill is with the final results. I can't blame them for the color not being my favorite, I was after all the one that picked it out, but the shape of my nails were not consistent, shortly after leaving my cuticles were dry and cracking, and the polish only lasted about two days. My sister's nails turned out a little better, but unfortunately still only lasted a few days. read more

Best shellac manicure on the lower Cape. Such a relief to find this place! I've tried nail salons in Chatham, Harwich, Dennis, and Orleans, and have been disappointed every time. They did a really nice, clean job, no warping of the polish after the UV curing, and they were friendly. I didn't have cash on me when I first arrived, and when I went to leave to go to the ATM, the woman offered to do the manicure first. I left her my car keys after the manicure while I went to the ATM, just as a gesture. It was just a kind offer to start the experience, and I am so happy with the overall results. To top it off, the selection of colors is excellent, and it's cheaper than a lot of other places around. I think it was $25 total. Now I know where to go for a good manicure! read more

I like this place a lot. It's basic, it's affordable, and the service is top notch. I had a cough, and they offered me a bottle of water and some cough drops - very nice. The reviews about the manicures being bad or not lasting long are old and not reliable in 2019. I've come here for a couple years now and my pedis are excellent. The new location in South Orleans is very nice and has lots of natural light. I was even able to pay them with Venmo, which I loved. Appointments are easy to make. I didn't give them five stars because it's not fancy, but, yay, I'm a fan! read more

My pedi did not last, more than two days, so that was disappointing, but I did wear pointy shoes!! Poor customer service! A friend and I made an appointment for 5 pm pedicures at Heavenly Nails, and when we arrived a few minutes before the appointment, were greeted with dumbfounded looks and poor attitudes. Usually if you make an appointment, a salon will attempt seat you in adjoining chairs, knowing that people who book together want to sit together. No such luck here, so my friend and I sat apart... and I sat and sat with my feet in water and waited for a pedicurist to arrive. Finally after about 10 minutes, I went back out front to check to see if someone was available to give me a pedicure, and the receptionist stared at me open-mouthed and was like, no, it's one-by-one. And I expressed my frustration that we'd made a reservation specifically to avoid going separately. Her response to this was a non-response: a blank look, no apologies, no efforts to improve the situation. There was another mother/ daughter couple waiting out front who had *also* made reservations at 5pm and then they asked the receptionist how long it would be, and were met with vague answers and a clear lack of interest on the staff's part to sort out the situation. A few minutes later, the mother and daughter left and the staff didn't seem concerned they'd just lost two customers. By the time a pedicurist was ready for me I was over the whole situation and I decided to forgo the treatment. Again, the staff acted like this was no big deal, another customer lost-- no apologies, no empathy, no attempts to provide a customer with service. My friend's pedicure turned out ok but I do NOT recommend this place if you want to go anywhere that at least pretends to care about pleasing and retaining customers. read more

This is a family run salon, and the young couple who own and operate the shop are very friendly and I got a great mani/pedi. For a French gel manicure and a French pedicure, it cost $56, which was quite reasonable - especially since it was really well done. I would definitely go there again. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the decor could use a little sprucing up, but when it comes down to it, what you really want out of a manicure or a pedicure is good-looking nails, and these guys will deliver. read more

I went here for a pedicure and brought my daughter for a mani/pedi. While our nails looked good, I got a foot fungus from this salon. I am not a happy customer, and strongly urge people to avoid this place. Thank god my 9 year old daughter didn't get the infection as well. That was the only bright side to my experience with this salon. Though the decoration is sparse that is not why you're there. You're there to et your nails done and they do a fast AND fantastic job! I was in town after my wedding and wasn't pleased with the manicure I had received so I was looking to get a gel (shellac) manicure. They have a good choice of shallac colors and are perfectionists. My thumb nail got a little messed up and my nail tech redid it from the beginning. All this for $30. Go now before they raise the prices! read more
