Its always hard when you lose a pet, esp those who became a part of your family. One of the best ways to commemorate them is to have them cremated with Heavenly Paws. From beginning to the end, the customer service was superb and professional. I would highly recommend this business and work with Morgan (if you can) to get your pet processed as she had amazing customer service (more on that later). Once your pet passes or if you know its almost their time, you can call Heavenly Paws to do a service order intake or you can simply fill out the form online. It's pretty straight forward to populate. I opted to have them pick up my pet from my home (there is a fee), but you also have the option of dropping them off or meeting up at the local vet/pet hospitals for pick up. Please note: Heavenly Paws does not do the euthanasia, go to your vet if you choose this route. They were very respectful pickings up your pet and they also use a coin tagging system to ensure through and through that your pet is processed altogether. I opted to pick up my pet from Heavenly Paws and the service was completed as promised (typical 3-4 week lead time). I was met with the utmost professionalism and great customer service by Morgan. She was so patient and informative. She broke down the whole cremation process and explained every detail. It made me at ease knowing they put forth the best respect to your pet and their service. Heavenly Paws has taken care of two of our fur babies. Both animals died at home. My son was devastated at the loss of his cat (6 years ago) and wanted to make sure he was cremated individually. The staff at HP was so kind and considerate, and acted with sensitivity. Last week my great Pyrenees died in his sleep. It was after hours so I left a message and they got back to me first thing in the morning and were there by 11 AM to pick up Odie. that was on Tuesday, I received his ashes back on Monday afternoon. Again, I asked for individual cremation. The gentleman who came to pick him up was sensitive and caring and very polite and professional. Everyone I interacted with here was just wonderful and we did not have to wait an unreasonable length of time like someone else who left a review experienced. I highly recommend them. We lost our pet due to an awful accident on July 2 and took her to our vet for cremation. It is now a month later and our pet is still not home. I've called the vet and was told that this place had a Covid outbreak and had to shut down. Ok, understandable. But allegedly Heavenly Paws is so backed up my vet is still waiting on pets to be returned from MAY. In the meantime, where is my dog?? In a freezer somewhere a month later, waiting to be cremated? The unexpected loss of our pet was horrible enough and now waiting for her remains, not knowing where she is or if she's even been cremated yet is even more distressing. I paid the vet for this service and I need some answers and some closure. I will consider updating this review once my pet's remains have been retuned. My review will remain 2 stars for now until we get my daughters baby back. Tomorrow makes one month since Lola passed and we do not have a time frame on when she'll get to come home. The 15th of July makes one month since we dropped her off to Heavenly Paws. The staff are great, the only thing I would suggest is a little more open communication. If there are delays, a phone call or a text would be great. My daughter and I have been calling almost every week since we were told 7 to 10 business days. Then my daughter calls today and is told that no one knows when Lola will be ready to come home. Communication is key. Especially if we pay for services in advance. read more

Not one ounce of sympathy from HP... just stated "order got wet" and they didn't see our last requests prior to cremation. A loving and empathetic facility would have reached out to confirm final requests. We unfortunately had to put down our wonderful poodle Vivienne. We took her to Heavenly Paws to be cremated so we could always commemorate her life and remember the happiness she brought us. My best friend Willie died in my arms of seizures and an apparent stroke last Friday night late! As I lay there blowing air into his nostrils and doing compressions onto his big Boxer Chest... he would open his mouth which I believed was gasping for air... so I continued ... on and on ... in vein ... horrifically to both of our demise! He was 11, I know!! He was born just before I signed my divorce paperwork from my Husband of 34 years and moved to San Antonio... He was everything to me!!! My Nephew and 91-year old father (with Alzheimer's) carried Willie downstairs and then into The Clinic that Saturday am to prepare for cremating. The Vet Staff had paperwork ready for me to put in my hands and for me to make choices for Willie at that time! I was too traumatized and said I had to come back before they closed at 1:00 ! I was still despondent when I arrived at 12:58 & was told I would still be able to make changes until Monday! I called the Vet Clinic on Monday at 5:12pm with slightly less angst and made my changes. I received an immediate return call back saying, "if he's already cremated then we can't change the color of the paw print!" I responded, "ok" and thru myself into my pillow crying with the image and the thought of his cremated remains already being done so quickly!!! Thoughts of his leg being cut off, and on and on... Then my phone ... of course my message notifications are set to a BARK SETTING... So...(1) My Vet is Closed When they get Notice (2) My Vet is Closed Sunday I CALL MY VET MONDAY AT 5:12pm, as I was told I could to make changes, when I calmed down. My phone "BARKED" @ 5:44pm - Hi Susan, Your Pet has been received at Heavenly Pet. At this time we can no longer accept any changes. When I spoke to the Clinic Staff, I said when I called at 5:12pm on Monday that if I had to pay for 2 boxes and twice the engraving, I would! I also wanted his paw in a white cast not aqua... (that's how crazed I was.. I picked aqua because I didn't think white would show up on the white matte in the frame) When I looked at these other Yelp pictures and posts and saw that others said how Heavenly Pet never left their side; how many options they showed for the same items I was asking for at the Vet Clinic office.... I lost my best friend, my baby Princessa, a 16 y/o Chihuahua mix that I had since I was 6, to renal failure on 12/13/18. Flooded with overwhelming grief and heartbreak from realizing that it was my pups time to move on, along with the guilt of making the decision to put her to rest due to her loss of motor function, bowel control, and desire to eat was just soul crippling. The last thing I needed worry about was her aftercare services as I was engulfed by the despair of losing a family member. From the first phone call inquiry to receiving my baby's ashes, clay paw print, and fur trimmings, the whole process was amazing. Lynette is kind, understanding, empathetic, and reassuring beyond measure. She truly understands the value of a pet as a cherished loved one. If I could leave Less than 1 star I would. It's only been 12 days since I received TEDDY's ashes and "her paw print" back. 12 days and what's supposed to be HER clay paw print has already fallen off in the picture frame and what's behind that "REYNA 2019" with all the money that your company charges to put this "Unique memory" together for us you would think that you all would at least have some consideration in what you're using to create this for us. How much would it have cost you to have used a brand new card stock and make it her own????? 50 cents. Maybe 75 cents. I had questioned that even being her paw print because there was no way you could get Teddy's complete paw print down without her nails digging into the clay. No way at ALL. Now I question are these even her ashes? Or are do they belong to REYNA 2019?????? Or perhaps did you all just grab some dirt from the area behind your building???? Who's to say. Who's to say she was even cremated alone like you all said she would be. I'm so disappointed with your company with your staff and everyone who let this happen. Losing a pet is one of the most dIfficult things ever and then seeing something like this and having to question a company that you trusted to handle your lifeless little pets body is even worse. The only reason why Im giving two stars is because lynette was very nice to me on the first day I called to change the remains from community to private. We did get the remains back quickly, thank you. Thank you for the card. But here's the problem....We got back the paw print and there are two things wrong. It's not the paw of my dog and it had no stone that was requested. My dog holly was a teacup chihuahua. She weighed 4 pounds and had feet no wider than my pinky finger. I have seen her footprints in the beach sand, in mud, on wet pavement. I have done her nails for 4 years, and have massaged her toes. I know her feet. These are wide prints, and there is no blue stone attached. The stone is secondary, because these are not her prints. I first received a call, from Lynette, apologizing, then justifying, and telling me what a bad time she is going through right now. She was too talk to the owner about this mishap. No call. No resolution. I have the prints of another dog. I would not use these people read more
