I called the store regarding a piano after being recommended to the store by another piano company. It was devastating to hear the words that my call was "a waste of time" and that I was treated with utter disregard by the staff member who took the call. While I was still on the phone I could hear the man complain to a coworker that they get "so many calls" about pianos; when did a 50 second phone call become such an inconvenience to a business? This place was Wonderful!! No high pressure sales!! They were incredibly knowledgeable and the owners delivered my Piano. How wonderful is that! I called and visited a few other places but the selection was not as good. In addition when talking to other stores it was apparent they did not really know what they were talking about. I had bought a piano from then and inquired via email and phone if they might be interested in buying this used piano back. After one week with no answer I called today and was told 'If Dan didn't get back to you it means that he isn't interested.' Interest or not, I was shocked by the lack ie professionalism. We sold our used piano to Heavenly Pianos. Very smooth transaction: They came to my house when they said they would, evaluated our piano and made me an offer. I took the offer without a negotiation because I was glad everything moved so fast. I'm super cheap, so in the back of my mind I'm thinking that I should at least make an counter offer or have been ready to explain why the piano was worth more. Perhaps I could have called another company that buys used pianos. But I was so impressed with the guys that came, it was so simple, and the piano was gone immediately; I couldn't say no. I had been earnestly looking to purchase a new Grand Piano for about 6 weeks when we made our visit to Heavenly. Bob was very gracious with his time and introduced us to various lovely instruments. I ultimately gravitated towards a restored 6'2' Steinway Grand, and when I voiced concerns on the voicing in the upper keys, Bob immediately agreed with me and suggested his technicians would address it if I was interested in playing the piano again afterwards. I recently bought a used Baldwin M (baby grand) from Heavenly Pianos. I had been looking for some time, and when I moved to Chicagoland, my search began in earnest. I was looking specifically for this model that I grew up on (American-made). I was looking via 4 distributors. Three were not too responsive but #4 was Bob Frazier at Heavenly Pianos. I spoke with Bob a couple of times in the summer, still looking for the Baldwin M. He kept in touch with me on various Baldwin Ms. I finally went in to look at 3 different Ms. One was the wrong color. One was two-toned but Bob said he could refinish the offending pieces. It was in my price range. Now the third...it was my dream piano. It did sound a lot better than he other one, so I had to stretch and Bob made it work out. I could not be happier!! Dan and Mark delivered it expertly soon after and Mark just left tuning the polished ebony beauty. I love playing her! I highly recommend Heavenly Pianos for their high attention to customer satisfaction, large inventory and experienced movers and tuner. I'm generally hesitant to leave poor reviews but after dealing with Heavenly Pianos felt it was warranted. I'm glad for Tom M. that he received the service he described and wish that were anything close to my experience. They have a huge sign in their window saying "Used Pianos Wanted". We have a very nice piano that I contacted Heavenly Pianos about selling. They also stated that they would come to the house and make an offer or take it to sell on consignment. Problem is we've received nothing but runarounds since. I wish they would have just said they were no longer interested if that is the case, instead of wasting our time. I'll sell it elsewhere, and would recommend buying elsewhere as well based on poor service & lack of follow through. read more

Customer service like this just doesn't exist any where else! I recently purchased a used piano from Heavenly Pianos in Arlington Heights and Bob the salesman treated me like a total VIP. He was helpful, resourceful, and even demonstrated his awesome skills on the piano so that you could really hear what the instrument is capable of sounding like.
