He was careful not to pressure us into anything and we ended up stumbling upon and asking about the Roland line of digital pianos. He was knowledgable and helped ease our concerns around digital versus acoustic. We ended up buying a Roland, because it met the needs of our family at the moment. Eventually, when we can move to a larger house, we'll be back here to see about getting a bigger acoustic piano! They had his business cards sitting on the counter, and I noticed that it read "Piano Tuning & Repair" which I thought was ideal. I asked the salesman there and he said that everyone liked Gary's work, and he came highly recommended. The first time he came over he not only expertly tuned the piano, but also fixed two bad keys on the spot for a reasonable charge. That was about 5 years ago and he has done our tuning and service ever since. He said," oh yeah.. one guy called in sick and the other has the day off". Why would their phones not be forwarded to the front so the main desk or floor could answer to inform customers so we don't waste our time? I asked if anyone would be in tomorrow (knowing one guy was sick)... he's like oh I don't know their schedules. Just try calling tomorrow. Completely unhelpful or uninformed staff.
