Two Stories: (1) In a pinch, I called in cleaning service (not PPCS), who left me to deal with a thick, dull residue of Mop & Glo on my new hardwood floors. Yikes! Yasenia listened with a kind ear, convinced me to get a refund from the cleaning service and brought in her "machine team" who mopped my floors 10x with vinegar to remove the build-up! My floors look new again! (2) Yasenia and team saved our cats lives (and likely our home). We left for dinner, with the gas turned on (I think the cats did it ;). Yasenia was kind enough to enter the home, open the windows and wait with my animals to make sure they were safe until I made it back home. Great company but closed residential services due to employee issues…read more It was too bad as the owner was one of few who came out to the house and introduced herself to the owner unlike all the others that now give a quote over the internet. And I have found that those cleaning businesses whose owner or representative take the time to come out first to do a quote are far more reliable than those who do not. So much so, that I will never hire another cleaning team that doesn't do this first. These are the people who are in it for the money and couldn't care less about the quality of service. Sad that she couldn't get reliable employees. It is hard finding good employees, and understood the reason but she operated a cleaning stellar business. The one star is because it is closed. And I keep getting asked to review Purple Penguin when they no longer provide residential cleaning services. If she ever offers residential cleaning again I'd be the first one to ask for the service.
