He's very communicative and so nice. They worked quickly and you would never ever know there were two 4" spots of damage. It was magic! The team came to the door and knocked, I opened it to James and two co-workers and simple asked them to please wear masks to minimize any exposure. After rambling under his breath all the way back to the car, and James just firmly said walking back well we don't have masks so we won't be doing the service today. We've been vaxxed but it's fine. It's fine. And literally just grabbed the materials and left. Even the poor two girls he had with him were apologizing. That is NOT how you conduct business. That being said, this is definitely a five star rated company. I called, they came out and gave me an estimate, and we're here on time for the estimate and the job. My job was carpet stretching in an area that had much furniture. Due to back problems, I was not able to move that furniture, and they moved it for me at a very reasonable price. We had a pipe break during the hard freeze in Austin in February 2021. Initially we thought that the carpet in the affected bedroom was ruined but we pulled out padding and lifted carpet and put fans on it and were able to save it. After having the pipe fixed and sheet rock repaired I called Austin Carpet Repair to reinstall the carpet. Their work was excellent. They were prompt and called to let us know when they were on the way or if running a little late, they were polite, wore masks, worked hard and did great job. They even had to deal with an area that my husband had cut out of the closet quickly when flooded and he left a crooked seam for Derek to deal with.
