cold brew should not be water down! my brothers regular ice coffee was darker. we both drink black and can see through the coffee.

Love this place! mostly a drive thru customer here. My usual bacon egg cheese on an everything bagel with a warm drink! The bacon cannot be beat by any of their competitors and their service is great! Apple fritters are evil here but hard to resist! And BBB loves all their donuts Only thing i would change if possible was to somehow add access to this location going both east and west on 111; right now just going east. Thanks heav'nly for making things heavenly with my drive thru food!

I used to be able to stop here and get my order done quickly and correctly. However, over my last six visits they have yet to make my order correctly once. I order a bacon egg and cheese with extra crispy bacon on an English muffin every time I go there. In the last two weeks they have completely messed up the order twice - once got ham, once on a croissant - and not once in those 6 visits has the Bacon been cooked well done. This morning, after repeating my order twice to them, I had hopes they'd get it right. I took one bite of my stringy, chewy bacon sandwich this morning and have officially called it quits with this location. I've given enough leeway. I've thrown away $50 on them over the last two weeks. There's better ways to waste my money.

Best donuts around. Always fresh, great variety. Coffee is good, too. Bagels are good and there are generous with the cream cheese.

While I grew up in Salem, NH - I loved to Los Angeles almost 20 years ago and every year at Christmas time look forward to my parents sending us Farmhouse Roasters Coffee at Christmas time. I wouldn't say we're exactly coffee snobs, but let's just say we like what we like, and enjoy nice dark blends. My wife and I have made it a bit of tradition to buy each other different types of artisan coffee around the holidays from many local shops, brewers, etc... and honestly, I think Farmhouse Roasters Farmhouse Blend beats anything out there. I feel like we're kind of "chasing the high" as we search for different coffees to try, and always come back to Farmhouse Roasters which is super consistent every time. The restaurant is great too, but honestly, we haven't been since pre pandemic so I can't give a detailed review... but it's worth it to simply load up on coffee if you're local or buy online... which we need to do more often.

Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. Till then, Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee in Salem gets 4 cracked eggs with bacon and beautifully seasoned hashbrowns out of 5.

Today I ordered the habanero steak Caesar salad which I've had many times. Although I ordered the steak medium it was brought out well done. Additionally the lettuce was virtually floating in dressing. Inedible. Now, the scant 3 oz of steak comes sliced and so the chef AND waiter obviously saw that it was black inside, not pink. I wanted to send it back but our waiter never checked on us until the meal was done. Maybe because he knew it was cooked poorly. I waited but finally ate about half and only told him about the problems when he later asked if I wanted to take the rest home. He came back a few minutes later and said he brought it to a managers attention and they agreed it was incorrectly cooked, and they would be giving me a gift card. We paid our bill and waited another 15/20 minutes but he never returned with a gift card so we left. Ps- it wasn't busy. Now, 1. I never return food unless I have confidence in the reliability of the kitchen staff (which I did not here) and 2. Although I didn't have the intention of asking for a refund or gift card, once it was offered by the waiter it should have been presented. $27 for a salad with 3 oz of chewy overcooked beef and half a bottle of dressing is way too much! There are many excellent restaurants around this area to waste my money here.

The waitress was nice , but unfortunately, she didn't cook my meal. i didnt air my grievance but i was grossed out. no effort was made in the kitchen. i'm thinking while the cats away...bogus meals are born... I don't know how long the toast was sitting out before they decided to butter it, it arrived at my table with a big hunk of butter that never melted. Don't bother to butter cold toast, and re: the broccoli omelette with provolone cheese the provolone cheese never melted. It was a hunk of gunk, there were probably three pieces of broccoli in the entire omelette. no exaggeration. I was so disappointed and the hashbrowns -shredded potatoes had bad old grease taste. tasted like they've been lingering too long. Somebody in the kitchen should taste the food they're putting out. I've come here for years. This was the worst meal yet. don't think I'll be back. There's too many competitors out there. my niece had the vegetable omelette. She had the same problem with her provolone cheese and left her retching gagging, and therr were barely any vegetables in the omelette. Her home fries were old overcooked and inedible. Her toast also had the same wad of butter on it when she left to go home unmelted. it still hadn't melted . and they don't have refills on sodas. That ticked my aunt off. She likes a free refill. The manager and her son were off today. It was a Friday. Maybe it's just an off day but I can't mask my disappointment. It's a shame I used to really enjoy it there. The iced water was OK. I just can't take those old bubble vintage glasses from the 60s .are just nasty My imagination was aflame. my meal was a bummer. overall unpleasantness. too bad I put my toast under the potatoes and egg in an effort to make the butter melt. That became the purpose was the only use for the dismal omelet and potatoes as it melted the butter... well almost melted ...just weird. a real drag. wish i had slept in...footnote The food went thru poor Sandy 4x that hour.
