Apparently, I mentioned that to the owner who was not happy and said in a very nasty way "I'm gonna have to talk to my girls about that, they should know the pricing and that's lost money for me!" I simply asked a question about price and the size of the ice cream cone that I got, which was extremely stingy from the owner of the business. During my fall foliage drive, I stopped by Whippin Good over their final weekend in 2020. I ordered a Cider Donut Sundae ($4 plus tax), which had a warm cinnamon sugar cider donut with a big dollop of dense soft serve vanilla ice cream topped with caramel drizzle. They use donuts from the Chichester Country Store, which is my favorite place for cider donuts in New Hampshire. The Cider Donut Sundae was really good and I enjoyed my cold treat at one of the adjacent colorful picnic tables. I will be sure to return to Whippin Good for more soft serve treats next season!

My wife ordered the black rasberry and I ordered my favorite, cookie dough. You can usually judge the mettle of an establishment by either flavor. Black Rasberry is exceptionally difficult to get right--too much rasberry, you have cough syrup. Cookie dough less so, but if you over-sugar your dough then you're dunced and liable to get a cavity to boot. Our girl came right up. We asked for one scoop each and got a veritable pound of ice cream in each cup. Live Free or Die portioning, God Bless New Hampshire! Damn the calories, full speed ahead! The Black Rasberry is the best god damned Black Rasberry I've ever tasted in my life, and I've tasted Black Rasberry from Seattle to Scranton. I'm from the eastern part of the state and only go there on holiday; Merrimack is forty five friggen minutes away. Findeisen's has good variety of hard ice cream flavors (over 30 flavors) including sugar free flavors, frozen yogurt and soft serve (chocolate, vanilla, twist). My favorite flavors are the Frozen Pudding, Wild Blueberry, and Strawberry Cheesecake. The ice cream is creamy and refreshing and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The hard ice cream is offered in one to four scoops ($2.75-$4.70 tax included) and in pints & quarts. The soft serve is offered in small, medium, and large ($2.25-$3.45 tax included) and in pints & quarts. They also serve Richie's Slushes, sundaes, banana splits, The Whirl (soft serve blended with candy), shakes, frappes, freezes, floats, malts, and ice cream sodas. Order from the outside takeout windows and there's picnic table seating available next to the building. Overall, a great place for ice cream and it's only 2-3 minutes down the road from the Londonderry Flea Market.
