Immediately got off in the first exit I could and gave it a good old Google repair try. Watched videos about rebooting the electrical system o my own. Unfortunately no luck. Had to call my insurance and had the car towed to this location. And at 1030 at night. Dropped it off and then had to go to Reagan airport to get a rental car and drive to my mom's. My day didn't end until 3am..... what a nightmare. What wasn't a nightmare was Adam getting my car in, calling my car ended warranty company, that I got through Honda, and coordinating all my repairs. All within in n 48 hours! Discounts without having to barter or beg. Customer service was 10 stars. Thank you so much Sam!! for turning my nightmare into a great day!!!

Today our service advisor called and said the technician FORGOT to put our coolant reservoir back on. Now I have go back to have them install it. I dont know what kind of technicians they have working here. But forgetting to reinstall a whole coolant reservoir is crazy work. Especially after being charged 3k for a 700 dollar part. I will never go back there after this experience. Very embarrassing quality of workmanship on the technician.

He took the time to physically go and lay eyes on the car to be sure it was there. I went to the dealership the next day with a time crunch. I wound up pivoting and test driving 3 different cars. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other buyers should know about my experience…read more I purchased a 2017 Audi Q7 from this dealership based on the condition they represented and the work they told me would be completed before delivery. When we arrived, the vehicle wasn't even available for a proper test drive because it was still being prepared. The sales staff told us we should go ahead and complete the paperwork because the vehicle could be sold to someone else if we waited. They also told us that if we drove it afterward and didn't like it, we could simply change our minds. Based on those assurances, we moved forward before having the opportunity to properly test drive the vehicle. We were also told the rear brakes would be replaced and the windshield would be repaired/replaced before we took delivery. Because of those promises, we waited about a week before picking up the vehicle. When we finally received it, neither repair had been completed. After taking ownership, I began noticing a significant vibration at highway speeds. I took the vehicle for a Maryland Safety Inspection, where additional issues were identified, including worn upper control arms. The rear brakes measured approximately 3/32", indicating they had not been replaced as we had been told. While further diagnosing the vibration, I also discovered a broken driveshaft bolt at the rear differential. This experience left me questioning how thoroughly the vehicle was inspected and whether the repairs I was told would be completed were ever actually performed. I understand that used vehicles can have unexpected issues, but I expect honesty and accurate representation. Customers should be able to fully inspect and test drive a vehicle before signing paperwork, and promised repairs should be completed before delivery--not simply promised. My advice to anyone considering purchasing here is to insist on a complete test drive, get every promised repair in writing, verify the work has actually been completed before taking delivery, and consider having the vehicle independently inspected.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with this service department. After moving to…read morethe area, I chose this dealership for my truck's service needs and continued coming back because I trusted the recommendations of their service advisors. After this experience, that trust is gone. During a previous visit, service advisor John Whitman told me my truck had an issue involving the radiator hose gasket. I was told the necessary part was on back order and that I would need to wait several weeks. I waited as instructed and, once I was notified I could schedule the repair, made an appointment about a week and a half in advance. When I arrived for my confirmed appointment, I was told they do not perform mechanical work on weekends and I would have to come back another day. Why was I allowed to schedule and confirm an appointment for a repair they knew they could not perform that day? John then suggested bringing the truck back Monday so they could also diagnose why it had recently started running abnormally loud. When my husband asked whether the original repair would actually be completed Monday, we were then told the required part had never even been ordered. This was after I had already waited weeks based on what I had been told and scheduled an appointment specifically for this repair. I had also been quoted more than $800, which I was prepared to pay because I trusted their diagnosis and recommendation. Thankfully, we decided to take the truck to Ft. Washington Chevrolet instead. They determined that the issue causing the abnormal noise was covered under warranty, and the necessary part was ordered within one day. At this point, this is about much more than an inconvenient appointment. I have serious concerns about why I was quoted more than $800, why applicable warranty coverage was not identified, why I was given a confirmed appointment for work they could not perform that day, and why I waited weeks only to discover the required part had never even been ordered. Customers should be able to trust that a dealership's service department is providing accurate information and straightforward recommendations. Instead, I was given conflicting or incomplete information at nearly every step. I had been a loyal customer and would have preferred to continue bringing my truck here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I have lost confidence in this service department and will be taking my business elsewhere. The Hills

Although the price has change drastically (upward)....the consistency and quality of service remains on point. Yates is one of those car washes that you actually get a good wash and outcome of a clean car for it to be a machine wash. The service is quick, fast and very convenient. The secret here is not just in the machine wash, but the secret sauce is in how hard the workers that dry and detail your car afterwards perform. The folks here work really hard to clean your car inside and out. If not necessarily a full detail, but it's close to as if you paid for a full detailed service in my opinion. There were times I was even ashamed to open the door for them to clean my car! Lol. But, in all, you definitely get what you pay for here and that i is a quality wash that meets all expectations for the price. Besides the machine wash service, they do offer a hand wash service and full detail service that can be scheduled. The price varies based on the car type and size. I've never used the extended services, but from what I can see, they perform a great job, especially with detailing your car. My go to is the standard ultimate Wash. This service is a full complete inside and outside cleaning job for your car as well as inside mats and tire/wheel cleaning. One day I will try the hand wash and detail service, but for now I'm completely satisfied every time I stop by here. I highly recommend you give these folks to visit. You will not be disappointed..... at least I haven't and it has been over 20+ years!

I took my 2018 Dodge Durango to Yates Car Wash Detail Center on April 13th to have it cleaned…read morebefore trading it in toward the purchase of a new vehicle. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine $42 car wash turned into a very disappointing and costly experience. After the wash was completed, a supervisor, Marvin Cornejo, brought me over to my vehicle and informed me that they could not get the driver-side window to roll back up. There were also clear signs that the driver-side power window switch had been pried on in an apparent attempt to get the window working again. Prior to bringing my vehicle to Yates, I had never experienced any issues with the windows or electrical system. To their credit, the staff apologized at the time, took photographs of the damage, and completed an incident report. I was told that the owner would be contacting me to discuss the damage and how the situation would be handled. It has now been a week, and I have received no follow-up whatsoever. Because I was trading the Durango in that same day, the damage directly affected the condition of the vehicle and resulted in a $500 reduction in my trade-in value. So, in the end, a $42 wash plus the $5 tip I gave the staff cost me an additional $500. The wash itself was fine, and I understand that accidents can happen. What I find unacceptable is the lack of accountability and follow-through afterward. If your business damages a customer's vehicle, documents the incident, and tells the customer that the owner will contact them, following through should be the bare minimum. Receiving no communication at all only adds insult to injury. I purchased my new vehicle later that same day, and based on this experience, I will not be bringing it to Yates Car Wash Detail Center. Unfortunately, I also cannot recommend Yates to others. Accidents happen. How a business responds when they happen says far more about the business than the accident itself. In this case, the lack of communication and accountability has been extremely disappointing.
