They're big on their own brand, whose quality is pretty good. We haven't been let down by their chicken, burger patties, center cut bacon, bagels, juice, pre-fixed dinners, and bakery items. The only bummer is they seem to tape the incorrect coupons on their promo items (happened a few times discovered at the register). They have a drive-thru pharmacy. This location is frequently busy, but they're conveniently situated right off the freeway, and across Temple's IMAX theater. They're in a shopping plaza shared with Kohl's. And there are several exits so you can find a way to maneuver around the parking lot traffic. Overall, I like 'em.

I was in town for a few days, so I figured I'd stock up on the good stuff while I was here. Inside, the prices were great and the service was friendly from start to finish. Everything felt organized and easy to navigate. I can see why H-E-B is such a Texas staple and why people talk about it the way they do.
