I've been coming to this coffee shop on and off and generally enjoy the drinks, but my recent experience was frustrating. I ordered a 20 oz drink and was given a 16 oz instead. When I came back the next day, the employee acknowledged the mistake and said the replacement was "on her," which I appreciated. However, I was still charged for a 20 oz drink again, even though I was only receiving a 16 oz. It wasn't about getting something for free--I just expected to be charged for what I actually received, especially after the original mistake. I hope the staff can be more consistent with correcting order issues in the future because good customer service goes a long way. read more

Friendly staff and good coffee! Hebrews is located inside American Eat Co., and there's plenty of seating inside. The only downside is that I've come here a couple of times right when they opened and the doors were still locked. I think since the other restaurants inside are still closed during that time , they sometimes forget to unlock the main entrance for Hebrews. Aside from that, it's a great spot for coffee and a pastry. read more

Placed inside a nice little market, Hebrews Coffee SLAPS. We got an iced vanilla latte and a chai latte and they were both fantastic. The coffee had a bold flavor and the 16oz drink was well balanced with coffee, sweetener and milk. It was the perfect taste! The chai had really great spiced flavor balanced by good sweetness. Really impressed with the drink quality and flavor! We had a cheese pastry that was crispy, perfectly baked, and filled with soft, creamy cheese filling and sweet berries. The chilaquiles bowl was packed and flavorful! Topped with a perfectly cooked egg, cotija cheese and lots of chiles flavor! You can tell this place is good, because locals come in and are known by first name! The baristas were friendly and know how to make great coffee. Popped into Hebrew's Coffee inside American Eat Co. after a Saturday morning walk at Reid Park and it was such a great find! I ordered a churro latte with coconut milk and an açaí bowl topped with strawberries, mango, coconut shavings, and crunchy granola--both were absolutely delicious. The churro latte was rich and flavorful (plus I loved their chunky mugs!), and the açaí bowl was the perfect way to cool down after a good sweat session. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I was impressed with how big their menu was--so many drink and bite options to choose from. Since all the other vendors at AEC were closed, we practically had the whole dining area to ourselves, which made it extra relaxing (and it was easy to snag parking because it was so early). Christian music played softly in the background, and it even looked like there was a Bible study happening in the couch seating area--such a unique and uplifting atmosphere. Overall, this was a wonderful stop with great food, kind staff, and a cool vibe. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu! read more

Perfect! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. The two young women working were very nice and informative. I chose an iced Tres Leches latte. I chose the larger size and it was close to $8, to be expected for a local small business. They accidentally made me the smaller size and offered to remake it, but let me keep both sizes, so I was super caffeinated. I didn't know it came with cold foam/soft top, which was the best surprise. Tons of options for drinks, nice atmosphere, and delicious drink. read more

Some of the best coffee I've had in town! They are local and the prices are fair. I came here in a busy morning during the week. The service is great and the staff is super friendly. They buried both the churro and the horchata latte and it was so delicious not overly sweet. The location is inside American eat. co so there is plenty of seating area and comfy lounge chairs. They also sell pastries and you can find them at other locations around town with their coffee cart. I will definitely be coming back to try other coffees and also the pastries. read more

The coffee from here is so good. When I learned of them through Cals Bakeshop I was a very happy customer. They have a trailer and come all the way to the South East side of town once or twice a week, even though they just opened inside the American Eat Co. location. Nothing negative to say about Hebrew coffee. They use to go to star valley park. They now have a little spot at American eat and all I can say is they have such creative ideas for their coffee. Absolutely loved this new spot inside AEC (American Eats Co)! It's a cozy coffee bar with a great vibe, and as a self-appointed matcha connoisseur, I have to say--the strawberry matcha is a must-try. It's perfectly sweet without being overpowering, and the real strawberries at the bottom are such a nice touch! I also tried the chorizo bowl, and wow--it's a hefty portion packed with flavor. The mix of potatoes, savory chorizo, creamy guacamole, eggs, pickled onions, cheese, and media crema makes every bite delicious. Definitely big enough to share or save for later! For both my matcha and the chorizo bowl, my total was $25, which feels worth it considering the portion size. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and give this place a try! read more
