I brought my not exactly sports inclined 5 year old at opening, and we had a blast. THe owner is lovely, and we felt welcomed. Did we do good golfing? no. Did we enjoy ourselves? Absolutely! It has all the classic things you want from a mini golf course. Light house, mini town, wind mill, water wheel, multilevel, etc. For the price, it is exactly what you want, and they take cards, I can't recommend it enough for those who need to take their wiggly little ones outside. Bring a hat for your kid and bathe them in sunscreen because it is DIRECTLY in the sun without any shade, and make sure to bring plenty of water because my girl was wilting by the end, but we had a great time.

As we were leaving, an employee did pull in, but since we had no idea how long it would take to open the register and get the place going we didn't go back. The (apparently controversial) decision to exclude the under-six crowd is the correct one for such a course, as it was busy enough on a June day when we visited that the backups attendant with little kids taking 12 shots on each hole would have made it unplayable. My downtick is the restrooms are too far away - you have to plan ahead in that regard. Yeah, it's pricey, but it's worth it if you are dedicated to this mini-sport.

We got to go on several courses, my partner, 33 years old completed the black diamond course, he said it was hard though! Let that remind you to get in there with the kiddos! I thought all the dinosaurs were super impressive and love how they setup the whole walking trail. There is a ton of shade, so even if you go when it's super hot you'll be fine! For my dino obsessed five year old he loved seeing all the variety of dinosaurs and even some more obscure ones that he knew and you never see at spots like this. They did a great job of putting some dinosaurs into "scenes" and simply showcasing others with facts and more info. My son isn't into splash pads, but that splash pad looked like a ton of fun. The climbing area was also huge and looked like fun. My five year old stuck to walking around and going through the maze 15 times. The maze is simple, but fun and a nice addition to the park. Didn't try any of the food as we ate locally at the Fox Woods casino, we also parked there for free as opposed to paying the $25 a night parking fee at Great Wolf. Everything was fairly clean and organized. The employees were very nice and accommodating. Prices are a bit high for everything. No free breakfast or anything like that. The only two negatives which aren't really the fault of the venue are: Literally after riding our first ride, some random guy started yelling at my son and I because I guess we didn't hand off the water tube quickly enough to the next person? I kept my cool as I didn't want to curse or flip out around children, but this guy was unhinged and very out of line. A real creep. We didn't even know you were supposed to hand off the tube when getting out, as it was our first ride. There was no workers around at this point. The only other minor gripe was the neighboring room was very loud, they were screaming at one another late into the night. We had fun, and would go back. Very good overall.

And as someone with food allergies I never expect to find much, but great wolf had little to nothing available without my allergens: peanuts/wheat. Overall, don't waste your time and money. If anything bring your kids for a day pass just to say they've been and go to 6 flags and another hotel. It'll be cleaner and most worth your time and money.
