Course is not only based on conditions, but managing pace of play. Got there 40 min prior to check in. Was there and some group showed up at their tee time, not 10 min / 5 min, but at their exact tee time and still were not ready to tee off yet the course allowed them to go out anyways. What did this group do? They took their fuhking time, jacking up pace of play, holding up everyone, just complete losers. They had clearly (2) to (3) holes in front of them and the course put a single out the back nine because these A-holes took their god damn time and then this single jacked up the original jack offs. This course is a stain on the golfing community and I will not ever step foot at this course and employ others to do the same.

When I arrived, I was told AS A WOMEN! to put on a sweatshirt over my outfit, even though there were multiple men on the course wearing t-shirts with no collars and JEANS! I've never been singled out like that at any other golf course, and it felt unfair and unnecessary. The people playing the course were not nice either. Between the poor course conditions, rude treatment, and inconsistent enforcement of rules, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other courses that are cleaner, more professional, and respectful to all their guests.

A good, bare-bones playing experience…read more Our round started walking past a group of older guys parked in the dirt and gravel parking lot cracking multiple cans of Bud Light from the cooler in the back of a truck at 11:30 in the morning. I've never pregamed for golf, but it looked like fun. In any case, you'll park in the lot near the back 9. What's stopping you from starting you game on whatever hole that is? Nothing really, beyond a sign that says go to the golf shop to pay. So, like the nice, law-abiding citizen you are, you will walk across the street to the golf shop to check in. Beyond that, just...go? We still had 9 minutes before our "tee time" but nobody was on 1, and nobody told us to wait...so we just went. We played the front 9, and I found two of those holes to be fairly challenging - in that my ball went in a direction other than intended on one, and plopped itself in the secret lake that's just over the hill on the...7th? Whichever one plays straight back towards the pro shop. If you see an orange Callaway, that'd be me. For a public course I'd say it was pretty well kept. The general geography of the course makes it prone to moisture retention, so you are bound to hit that random soggy spot in the grass that one would only expect after a hard rain. Cheap. Golf. Relatively open schedule and easy to book a tee time not too far in advance. No real frills beyond that, and definitely no expansive 19th hole. But hey, sometimes - the simpler the better. COVID stuff: It's golf, so just mind your distance. I went here a month ago and we walked the course, but I think there was some sort of restriction on cart sharing. The golf shop was closed (operating through a window) a very limited food menu was being served to-go only. I imagine at this point it's loosened up a bit more.

The wildlife brings more joy as you see are able to see different types of birds and animals. I love mallard ducks and cardinals! Regarding the employees, they are super kind and professional. If you are a very serious golfer, it's probably not for you. If you're an average golfer just looking to get out and have some fun on a quick 9-hole course, give it a shot. If you're a bit below average and want less hassle and stress over pace of play.. a good option here. The course yardage itself is fairly short and, as noted above, only 9 holes, but it has some memorable moments and fun approaches. Holes eight and nine are both short Par 3's with significant water hazard potential. Probably the most fun ones. TiP- Bring a couple crappy balls you won't mind losing and maybe keep those ProV1s in the bag for hole 8. The clubhouse has had some improvements since I had last seen it, and now houses the second location for Giovanni's Pizza. The setup gives you a good spot on a deck to have a pint and a slice or two after your round (or before) while watching others tee off on the first hole. You can sit inside instead as well. Parking isn't always great, so car pool if possible.

So good thing we had mulligans on to reset this or it would tank your score during a 9/18 hole play through. The only issue I had with the screen/ball net is there was a hole right in the center of the screen which also caused the screen to wrinkle up due to the hole. This should really be replaced. The overall cost is about the same for any other simulator in the area. 4/5

That's unheard of. For my first drink, I'm having a Cosmopolitan. This is very good! It's a bit lighter than normal and not as strong, but I like it! A cosmopolitan, or informally a cosmo, is a cocktail made with vodka (Benedict's here), Cointreau, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice. For my first food item, I'm having the "Chef Salad." This is huge! For $7?! What a deal! It came out pretty quick. The bartender says there portion sizes are pretty big for Happy Hour. He got that right! It's healthy and low carb too. Vegetables are crisp. This is not a common item you see on a Happy Hour menu! Omg is this good ! Chef salad (or chef's salad) is an American salad consisting of hard-boiled eggs, one or more varieties of meat (such as ham, turkey, chicken, or roast beef), tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese, all placed upon a bed of tossed lettuce or other leaf vegetables. This is nice! Sour mix is fresh. It tastes good and has nice presentation! For my next food item, I'm having the Traditional Deviled Eggs . These are great! The dish is cold and has great presentation! These are delicious ! Next up, I'm having the Bogner's Chili Cheese Dog. I haven't had a good hot dog in a long time! Here's the Bogner story: "William Bogner Sr. and his wife Helen migrated from Italy to New York in 1925. William began working for Hebrew National and other sausage facilities perfecting his craft. Moving to Manchester Connecticut with his new family (sons William Jr, and Donald) he built by hand his slaughter house. William and his family worked the slaughterhouse selling fresh beef to local meat processors. Making sausages and wine became a passion. Friends and family would often come over to eat and drink the home made vino and sausages. In 1965 sons William Jr and Donald built their meat processing plant on Wetherell Street Manchester and used their fathers recipes to make sausage products still made today. William Jr. sons Kurt, Robert, & David bought the business in 1992 and also acquired Stanleys Nutmeg Brand & Angellina Sausage company. When two large local meat company's (Union Meat& Lewis Beef) ceased operations the Bogners hired their butchers and took over their marquee accounts. Love the cocktail sauce, lemon squeeze and the bed of arugula. Next up, I'm having the Vodka Mule. This is really good! It has a [very] strong ginger taste! A Moscow mule is a cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime and a sprig of mint. The drink is a type of buck and is sometimes called a vodka buck. For my next [2] items, I'm having the McCooe's Burger Slider and the Crispy Chicken Slider. OMG ! Look at this presentation! Each comes standard with a pickle and chips. These are yummy! For dessert, I'm having the "Hollow Hot Fudge Sundae" made with Royal Vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate ganache (1/2 for me), spiced nuts and Luxardo cherries .
