It's a good thing I went to the ER because I was having an A-fib event. It ended up correcting itself while I was in the ER but I was told I needed to follow up with a Cardiologist. My boss at my work referred Dr. Doherty and I'm glad he did. Dr. Doherty is a very intelligent and thorough Cardiologist. He went to Harvard Med and worked at Cedars Sinai, and that should be all the credentials you'll need in choosing him. I haven't had any issues since I have become a patient of his and I feel like I'm in good hands in case something does happen.

This is an update to my original review of Dr Rasania. This Cardiologist "showed up" at my follow…read moreup visit. Dr Rasania provided me with the results of my Echo Cardiogram, and was very straightforward with an apparent diagnosis. I'll still need 2 more invasive tests before he can go ahead with my surgery. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. I felt he was really engaged.

Unfortunately, only our first visit was great. During our second visit, I was waiting for the ultrasound room with my father. I heard a loud female voice yell, "Put on your clothes!" Then I heard the angry voice again and heard the mumble of an old man. I thought, "geez, some people treat their family members like this..." And a minute later I heard a disturbing scream: "MY GOODNESS, PUT ON YOUR CLOTHES!!!" I was ready to give judgmental eyes when the door to the ultrasound room opened, but the people who walked out were an old man and our ultrasound tech, not the old man's family member. Great. I was scared for my dad at that point because he's old and weak, so I followed them in and watched the process like a hawk. She remained professional until the end when my dad had a coughing fit laying on the bed as instructed. She made a disgusting face and straight tossed a dirty towel over my dad's face, went "ughh," and returned to her paperwork. If you plan to take your elderly here, supervise the entire visit. This lady has no respect or compassion for the elderly. I don't care if you are good at your job, but if you treat elderly like that maybe you're in the wrong field. In the end, another doctor from the office saw my dad instead of Dr. Choo.

And Madeline R. Immediately there lightheaded humor and caring demeanor put me at ease. They were amazing. It was time to start the treadmill and The RN Thu Vu came in. She was so reassuring and encouraging. These three ladies became my team. Cheering me on the treadmill I felt empowered to get my heart rate where it needed to be. Who ever hired these three I take my hat off to you. They are what this world needs compassion and Empathy. I will always ask for them to run this test. Buy them Lunch or coffee they deserve it. I am extremely disappointed with the way my mother's care has been handled by this office. She waited months for an appointment regarding a serious medical concern involving an open wound with ongoing drainage, only to drive over 30 minutes to her scheduled appointment and be told that the necessary paperwork/referral had not been sent and the appointment could not be completed. No one contacted her beforehand to let her know there was an issue. This was especially frustrating because she had already experienced delays in receiving test results and was expecting follow-up care she did not receive. She was also told she would receive antibiotics, but that never happened. Communication from this office has been consistently poor. Calls are frequently placed on hold immediately without explanation, staff have provided conflicting information, and phone calls have been CUT OFF before concerns could be addressed. Which is very unprofessional. When asked for names, some staff members refused to identify themselves. We understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has been unacceptable. Patients dealing with serious health concerns deserve timely care, accurate information, and respectful treatment.
