I went in person to change the time, and they told me it could be scheduled for any day. On the day of my appointment (Thursday), they charged me for a consultation, even though I had already reserved the exact service I needed. Then they told me that to keep the promotional price, I had to come back on a Friday. When I tried to reschedule again, they demanded that I prepay half of the cost, ignoring the fact that my boyfriend had already left a deposit. Due to the ongoing miscommunication and the rude, unhelpful attitude from the staff, I decided not to proceed with the treatment. After I posted my review, the doctor called me a liar, when in reality the issue has been the staff's poor communication and management. My question is: why are they refusing to refund the deposit to my boyfriend if I never received the service and even paid for a consultation? This seems completely unfair and incorrect.

Well those complications got worse and were never addressed by the doctors here. I had a cyst removal that turned into a giant scar causing years of consequences. I immediately tried to address this issue but was told it would be fine. It was not fine and turned into an unsightly and painful scar. After visiting for follow ups, I was completely ignored. The doctor did not conduct two layers of stitching, which is common practice. Considering this, the wound completely ripped open because there were no protective stitches under the skin to reinforce the wound. I was never told to come in for a stitching fix, but instead wait and see how it heals. Multiple plastic surgeons I've been to since said that they would have fixed it immediately. I could not be more upset with this office and how everything was handled. At the time I did not have health insurance and paid a lot out of pocket for this. If I had known my treatment would be handled so incompetently, I would have went to a plastic surgeon. I would not recommend Z-Roc for anything medical or dermatology related, and would suggest another dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

He has always been great and I have nothing bad to say about him. However, he just sold his practice to a big company and like any change of this nature, in my experience, the parent company is focused on maximizing profits. I had a mole removed during my last visit and, as a cash patient, I always pay for services rendered at the time of the appointment, the full bill. I did so as usual at the end of my last appointment, and that was it, or so I thought. Surprise, surprise. I just got a bill, more than two months after my appointment, for "lab services" from the parent company. So now they are going try to bleed their patients by nickel and diming them. I'm not putting up with that crap and they have lost a patient. If you are in need of a dermatologist, do yourself a favor and find a local doctor who hasn't sold out to a big corporation. You will be happy you did.
