We have a motorhome. Got a screw in one of our 4 rear tires. Air didn't seem to be leaking yet. Called Hector's and they said they could repair right away. We drove there. Skinny long lot. They indicated where to park and came out immediately with their jack, took tire off and had it repaired in 15-20 minutes. They charged us $20. Wow. So reasonable. They helped direct us to turn rig around and off we were--back on the road!! read more

I always call to make sure they have my size available. They always do! I drive the 91/15, which is always under construction. I can't tell you how many nails and even screwdrivers I get in my tires! I never have to wait, someone is always available and it's done very quick.. even while I'm sitting in the car with my sleeping daughters :) Their prices on used tires are really good.. I do not recommend! I got a flat tire On freeway and came straight here afterwards to get my tire fixed . That same day I got another flat tire from the tire that they "fixed" because i bought a used tires from them that was bad It . Kinda glad I didn't buy new tires from them because they probably would have been just as bad . . I came to this spot because of the reviews and wasn't impressed. My boyfriend went to get his truck aligned and said they charged him $60 so we brought my car two days later and they tell him $100 . So whatever, he gave them the $100 just for them to come back and say they couldn't fix it and that I wouldn't need a Camber kit . They didn't even give him the $100 back and the guy told him the alignment was guaranteed . I can only imagine if I would have went by myself and what they would have tried to bs me . Im very upset with Hector tires! This is the second time they do this, tell me they have the tires I'm looking for when clearly I tell them the brand & size im looking for. I drive all the way from orange county & get to their Main st. Location for them to play off that that I never mentioned the brand I was looking for and they want to sell me another brand that I don't even know. When clearly I told them the information twice. They don't even apologize for wasting my Time and just to drive All the way out there, I don't recommend this place at all it's not trustworthy. In the area of Riverside to look for a place to rotate my tires on a Sunday since I have school on weekdays. I gave their location on Blaine a call and their phone forwarded to the location on Main since the other shop was was closed. I was quoted for $15 to rotate all my tires on my SUV which was a very reasonable price. The staff here are very quick and friendly and I was in and out less than 15 minutes. They had an ample amount of jacks and equipment available at their shop. I would normally rotate my own tires at home, but I live on a steep slope and that would not be a good idea to do at home. They also have a huge inventory of used tires available which is nice when you only need to replace one or two tires. I will use them more frequently in the future for my tire needs. A job like this at home would of taken me more than an hour to complete. read more

I'm from the garden grove area and am only in riverside for school so it was tough finding someone I could trust. I am very suspicious since people sometimes see I'm a girl and try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. I've been here on two different occasions: once with a flat tire, and once when I got a screw or something stuck to it. Both times the people here made sure I got the most cost efficient solution to my problems. I've been to other places and they tried to make me replace my tire when I just got something stuck in it. When I came here they fixed it for $10/$20 (I don't remember) and I've been driving on it for months and it's fine. They also pumped all my tires and checked everything (idk if this is standard but I was grateful). I'll be going here for all my tire needs. read more

I had a screw in my tire on a Sunday afternoon and could not find a place to help me, even to just check the tire pressure. The service center at the dealership was closed, the gas station attendant at the nearest gas station wouldn't loan me a tire gauge, American Tires was closed, and Firestone Tires on Market didn't have time (although one of the mechanics went out of his way to check the tires, mark the screw, and offer some suggestions of places that might fix it; his service manager was less than helpful though). I drove into Hector's tires mid-afternoon on Sunday, and they took care of me: a patch, under 15 minutes, and $10. Super nice and now I'm a customer for life for tire repair. read more

Hector Saved Thanksgiving!! We had a 2 inch piece of sheet metal puncture our left side rear tire during a heavy downpour on our way to Mom's for Thanksgiving. AAA could tow us, but to where? All the Big Tires stores were closed on Thanksgiving. So we searched for an open store and found Hector OPEN ON THANKSGIVING! He hooked us up with a great slightly used Pirelli tire, mounting included for a great price. From puncture to back on the road in an hour and a half!!
