The food was great, and we had nothing but respect for the restaurant. Unfortunately, that changed after a recent takeout order. The total I signed for and authorized was not the amount that was ultimately charged to my account. An additional tip appears to have been added after I signed the receipt, resulting in a higher charge than what I approved. When I called to speak with a manager, I was not given an adequate resolution to the issue. I strongly recommend that anyone who dines here carefully review their receipt and final transaction amount to ensure they are only charged what they authorized. It's disappointing that a business would allow something like this to happen. There are many other restaurants in the area that value their customers and their trust.

Didn't get my coffee, with requested cream and Splenda when handed my tacos. Asked for it again and was told we don't have Splenda. Then I get handed coffee with one Splenda pack with a nasty look. Good luck treating customers like that. Salt, pepper and Splenda are a small cost to losing a repeat customer. Being snotty and having a negative tone are a bad business model for dealing with customers. It's a quaint little building on the main road that goes through town. This building has housed many different restaurants in my time. This one is by far my favorite! With the food I had today, I am hopeful that they will do well and stay open! We had the chorizo breakfast burrito and a Barbacoa breakfast burrito. Both were delicious! But the Barbacoa was chef's kiss! It is my favorite Mexican meat so perhaps I am biased. But I do consider myself a bit of a Barbacoa connoisseur. I have had plenty that I did not like. This one, however, was delicious enough to rave about! The homemade tortillas and salsas (quite a few to pick from) were super fresh and flavorful! My favorites were the fire-roasted salsa and the green jalapeño salsa. But all were superb! I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu! We'll definitely be back!
