The chicken quesadilla was offered plain or spicy and I chose spicy not knowing or informed it cost more. I often substitute the guac for their refried beans as I love them so much! everyone loves their fajitas that come in a nifty fajita serving dish. My girlfriends and I love to share an order of combo, beef and chicken nachos with extra grilled veggies along with an order of Mary's Nachos. Their house margaritas are so good - frozen or on the rocks - we don't feel we need to add a call beverage. For those not in the mood for Mexican food, their cheeseburgers and also their chicken strips with fries are amazing. The employees and owners are the nicest ever. Sometimes they get busy and it takes a little longer, but they are still very efficient no matter the crowd. Highly recommend! Some call it a hole in the wall, but we call it a local gem.

The rice was light, fluffy, flavorful. Honestly, I could use more heat, but, that's something I could have fixed at the table. This would actually be the perfect chicken tortilla soup for old white ladies that don't need the heat. So, you know, let all the old white ladies in your life know they need to try this. Mi madre was really pleased with her street tacos, but she wouldn't stop yapping about how good the beans were. Whole way home, she was raving about the beans. The manager never came to the table to apologize, the birthday lady had to go talk to the manager to ask for a discount for her meal. What is wrong with the management? For the chips, they have the yellow corn chips mixed with a few green-colored chips. For the salsa, they bring a small glass bottle of salsa, a ketchup-bottle-sized container of liquid butter (or sour cream?), & an empty condiment bowl where you can experiment with your perfect combination of salsa & sour cream. That's kinda fun! I also had the plate of spinach enchiladas with sour cream sauce (delicious & vegetarian-friendly!). It came with a few slices of jalapeños, refried beans, & fried rice.
