I've been in Houston for 10 years and it me the longest time to find a good salon and nail tech. I know go here religiously and see Emma every time and she's so kind and pays attention to details. Love her! Won't go anywhere else now.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the heights . From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The salon was clean, beautifully organized, and had a relaxing ambiance. My nail technicians, was incredible--super attentive and detailed. They listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The quality of the manicure/pedicure was outstanding, and I've gotten so many compliments on my nails! I'll definitely be coming back and recommending the heights nail spa to all my friends. If you're looking for excellent service, this is the place to go! First time going here and it'll probably be my last. I was charged $55 for something so basic, I don't even understand why it added it up to that. Color isn't what I wanted, and the shape is ridiculously stupid.

Came here for the first time & got here right when they opened (9:30am). I was seated immediately. Service was quick and I was out of the door by 10:10am. I got the classic pedicure ($28) & enjoyed the small massage I got on my legs & calves. Nails look great. Would come back.

So I went here looking for a new nail place . I did love my dip nails , felt like the design was basic I also got the 44 dollar pedicure with hot stones and parrafin wax - my total came out to 115 I believe . The dip nails was listed as 50 and the pedicure was 44. I got a French tip on my toe nails and 2 nails with designs which are listed as 6 dollars .( for both ) how I got to this total I have no clue . I didn't ask at the time cause I was pressed for time . Upon entrance the dude at the desk gave me a number and didn't explain anything . I'm like what's this then he told me hang on to it . Okkkk.. very small selection for nail polish . I sit down , it's hot in there , the seats are older and I was not offered a drink . After about 8-10 minutes I asked for one . I always get my pedicure the same way , a light nude pink nail polish and then a very thin white line painted on it . I'm very specific about my pedicures , she told me it was impossible unless I got shellac which is BS because I get it every place I have ever been . I hate shellac on my toes . I don't have patience to have it removed . She then proceeded to whisper under her breathe cause I'm assuming I am being very specific about what I want . She then used a pumice on my feet only . For about 1 -2 minutes . Def not enough for my liking when I told her she needed to work more on that she completley ignored me . I then waited a minute and mentioned it again louder - she then got the grater thing out and asked me if it was okay . I'm like yes . Again working 1-2 minutes. I know people get very consistent in their jobs and repetitive but I'm paying for a service and it needs to be met . Anyways would def return for dip nails she was amazing , would not return for pedicures . Also ask for a breakdown of your recipt . My 3 stars are for my nails . I have to have my pedicure redone the way I like it since they don't accommodate nail polish with French tips .

I just moved to the area about a week ago and I found this shop on Yelp. I got a dip full set and a pedicure and both of the ladies that performed my services did a great job. My nails are shaped to perfection and I have a really hard time finding someone to shape my nails, so I am very happy. The only complaint I have is that no one offered me water or wine even though I saw it being offered to other people. I am not sure why I wasn't extended the same courtesy as the other paying customers. Overall, I will go back bc I love my nails and hopefully I am offered water or wine. If not I'll probably take it personal.

Always good service I've had my nails done by Lynn, Misty, and Christina. They always do a good job. The pricing is good and usually if you have to wait for a nail tech it isn't very long.

This is an update from my previous review. I really like coming here and will continue to. But I would not recommend a certain nail tech. She will cut your finger while filing almost every time.

I went in and asked for a gel pedicure and a matching powder dipped manicure. I was told that they were out of the matching powder but they could match it with another brand. I ended up with nice, beige toenails and ORANGE fingernails. I also said that I do not like pointy nails, I only want rounded nails. I have pointy fingernails that are the wrong color (and don't match my toes) for $130 with tip. I will spend my money elsewhere.

EDIT: decided to cancel my nail appointment with Heidi and go to Citris Nail Salon. It was cheaper and I wasn't required to know what style I was getting before I came. That was the main reason I wasn't able to get my nails done the same day as my pedicure. When I scheduled my pedi and nails, I had no clue I needed to tell them ombré PRIOR to coming in. I think that would be the responsibility of the person on the phone if you are scheduling people back to back. When I got there, she mentioned she couldn't do them since it would run into her next appointment. I appreciate the honesty though but a little inconvenient for me. I'll be doing two reviews. The first one is for their classic pedicure. I'll be back today to get my ombré nails done by Heidi and will add an additional review then. Appointments are required here which is nice because you're immediately seen when you come in for your appointment on time. My tech was Ashley. She was nice but was a little pushy when it came to choosing shellac versus a regular nail polish. She mentioned something about the winter weather even though I told her I usually come in for a pedicure every 2 to 3 weeks and I didn't care much about the weather or my polish lasting for more than a month. For the classic pedicure, the original cost is $28, which is what I'm used to. The issue is how long I got to actually leave my feet in the water and if this felt like a real pedicure. I felt like my feet were outside of the water for most the time and when I did get a chance to put my feet in the water, the water was not warm. By the time I the water was warm, the pedicure was over and it was time for me to put polish on. I also feel like she did the bare minimum when it was time to get the calluses off and cut down the cuticles. Not sure if I would recommend it by this tech but it got the job done for Christmas.

Prices are not as advertised and they charge me $80 for a basic ombre powder set and I get waaayyyyy more than this elsewhere. I just moved back to Houston and looking for a new spot so I gave this place a try and I'll never try them again... Regular power is $60 when most places charge $37-$45 and they charged $20 for ombré!!! Ombre is normally a $5-$10 up charge NOT $20!!! Nail have been on 1week and one is already broken... I put my car in drive and looked down to see a broken nail, I didn't even feel it!!! Poor application not to mention the pedicure tech cuts you until u bleed!!! No discount applied for the pain endured. Don't let the area and free cheap wine fool you!!!

This nail salon was superb. We travel for a living and have had the opportunity to visit very high end salons in LA, Palm Springs, Atlanta and NewYork. Heights is every bit as classy, talented and accommodating as those. We had excellent service and extremely competitive pricing. Right now all services are 20% off. When you go ask for Heidi or Holly, though from what we observed every professional there was very accomplished. I had two different colors on my finger nails and asked for one nail on each Hand to have some creative art done. Between the Salon and Target just two stores down 5 people asked where did you get that great look on your nails. This is a must stop place in Houston. Live near the heights area, but was dog sitting for a friend which put me right in the heights area. I needed my nails done so I looked on yelp and found this nail salon right near where I was dog sitting I said why not and tried it out. I've been wanting to try ombré nails for a while, and let me tell you, Lynn hooked it up!! The girl at the front was very helpful and Lynn did a great job on my nails. The place is spacious and clean. Great customer service. I usually go to a place on 290, closer to my house, but I think I may just go there from now on. read more

I went here for the first time to get a pedicure (but let's be honest, my mail reason was because I wanted a leg/foot massage) and was not disappointed. They have a variety of nail polish and pedicure options. They had a variety of drinks (water, wine, etc.) that they offered to me at the beginning and end of my pedicure. My pedicure looked great and the massage was very relaxing. I didn't make an appointment but they were able to have me seated within 10 minutes when I went on a Saturday afternoon, but I think that they filled up pretty quickly after my arrival. I will be back! read more

I love the powder manicure that I get done here and my gel pedicures. I absolutely love that I know I'm Not going to be here for hours if I need a pedi and mani. When I make an appointment they always bring me back on time and have two nail technicians one to do mani and other to do pedi, always out quick but still feel taken care of. Heights Nail Spa is the most beautiful and relaxing salon in the area! They are located right next to Target and are open late which is great to get my nail fix during the week. Upon entering you are welcomed by a beautiful chandelier and a wide selection of shellac, dip powder, polishes, and SNS!! The shellac options are literally displayed to you on a serving tray because they have so many! I personally love Essie, and they offer matching Essie brand shellac if you like to match your hands to your toes! Red or white wine is complimentary (water and soda too, but who cares because FREE WINE!) They always have a full house of nail technicians to take care of your mani and pedi at the same time. Nothing bothers me more than when you have to get the pedi first, then go do your nails. So it's nice to be double pampered on every visit. I was there for 1.5 hours of relaxation and the leg massages with the stones are worth the extra price! I've been here twice and both experiences have been perfectly relaxing! The ladies/men who've worked on me have always been so sweet and attentive to my needs -- nail shape, making sure the water is hot enough, offering more wine, etc. read more

I was excited about this place because I live right next door. Without the discount of 30% off for the first month their prices are higher than other salons in the area. I received a manicure by Tiffany and she was extremely rude to me. She asked me if I exercised and when I said yes she replied "it no look like you exercise". Then she asked if I was married and when I told her no she said if I exercised more I would be married. I was never so insulted in my life. And within 24 hours all my nails chipped from my manicure. I'll stick to Parkview Nails where they do a much better job and prices are cheaper. I will never be returning here. read more

First time customer and unfortunately my shellac mani didn't last 3 days. They did say I could come in to have it fixed, which was a great opportunity for them to turn a bad experience into a good one, in spite of the inconvenience. They fixed the nails they had to as fast as possible, and now the rest of the nails are peeling. I won't be going back. read more

I just moved to the area and needed a pedicure and a fill after lifting and putting all my stuff away. They did a great job on my nails, but they're overpriced and charged just to shape my nails. Now I'm torn on cost vs how nice my acrylic nails turned out. I may try elsewhere to see how it goes before returning here. Was just too expensive. read more

Do not get a waxing here. They completely screwed up my eyebrows- see picture. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for 16 years and have never had this bad of an experience. When I initially pointed it out, they acted like they didn't see the giant hole in my eyebrows. Then I asked for another person and she brought a pencil to try to fix it. I have never been so upset and the business acted like it was no big deal. read more

they are over priced and switch prices on every appointment I came twice got fillin and polish change paid 210 for wat they charge for every didnt need shape and they shaped anyway and charged me for a curve in my french they charged and these are the same things I got last time with two people with full pedi and and mani and pedi paid 250 but for a polish change and two fill ins 210 if anything it should've been cheaper they are greed nail techs and rushing u out the salon and charging way to much and the salon place anybody on u that can't design or polish read more

Not my regular spot... Drop in for a soak off and manicure for my daughter... Sloppy work and had to ask for some corrections to be made... Had to wait a while for the corrections to be made... I guess the technician was rushing to get to her next client... Simple soak off and a manicure shouldn't be something that looks like you did it at home yourself!!! $23 down the drain!!! read more

Heights Nail Spa is a very friendly & professional place to go. When i first walked in, i was greeted very kindly and barely even waited ! when i first sat down in the chair i got acrylic nails and a pedicure. both ladies doing my nails were very nice and patient with me. I told them all different types of stories of bad nail salons and they laughed and made me feel funny lol. They engaged in conversation and were very nice. When i was done and was about to pay, (i think the owner) this guy at the front desk complemented my nails :) i highly recommend. read more

Had a fantastic, relaxing 90 minutes here. Wonderful spa pedicure and manicure. I did the sea salt mani and pedi. When I got the hot towels, wax, then hot stones I felt I died and went to heaven. Be sure to take advantage of discount in months of July and August 2016 to celebrate the opening. Very clean, quiet at the time I went (Tuesday morning) and a lovely environment. Beautiful chandeliers and NO loud tv which I appreciate. I've visited other salons where they cut my cuticles too much and made me bleed--ouch. Not so here, nice gentle cuticle treatment. Huge polish selection and it's laid out in a way where it's easy to pick your exact shade. See pictures. I will definitely be back! read more

Okay I was a little thrown off because the people at the front are never that nice to me but this is THE place. All of the other dip manicures I've had in houston have had problems- cracking, falling off but the ones I have had from here are always flawless. Whats more is I came in with a huge crack that went halfway down the center of my toenail- I had no idea what I was going to do there was a huge indent I thought I may have to lose it and walk around with half a toenail- I even asked if I should get an acrylic over it! This genius asked if I wanted it glued! Not only is it perfectly in place but she was so meticulous it looks no different or less smooth than my other toe- even with the high gloss paint it is indistinguishable! I would have been happy to pay extra for this woman saving my toe (and my ability to wear sandals on an upcoming vacation) but they did not charge me a dollar more for the service. Very detail oriented nail techs if you want your nails to be perfect come here read more

Went back to remove my old dip which is the one in the hot pink (pic attached) this lasted me a whole month with no chips or lifting. They still looked good!! Very impressed. Once again, I came during my lunch break. This time I made an appointment with Heidi. I arrived a little early, I had time to choose my next dipping powder color. Once again, Heidi rocked it! I love my nails. Pic posted, went with a more natural color... for now! This will be my NEW spot for my nails. read more

This has become my new nail place after trying several nail spas in the area. This is a brand new salon and super clean and had a beautiful decor and atmosphere. I thought the staff was very friendly and warm. I think their prices are lower than the surrounding salons and with the current promotion (which I think they said lasts for the first 3 months) was a fantastic deal! I had a French manicure done by Lindsey now twice and will be making my next appointment today ...and must say that it is probably the best set I've had in 20 years. I had a pedicure done also which was very relaxing. I forgot the technicians name but thought she did a really nice job. They also had a huge selection of polishes ( all brand new bottles). Plus they offer a beverage and make sure you are comfortable. Not sure why some people had a bad experience but mine was great! I would definitely give it a try. read more

Very inconsistent wait time. I was quoted 30 minutes while I was getting a pedicure and during the pedicure I asked why I wasn't able to get my nails done after the lapse of the time. Many many many customers walked in after me and were attended to. This is my second time to give this place a try and the last. In addition to my prolonged wait time the younger Caucasian man was very rude when I inquired about the time. I know the customer isn't always right but gahhh no need for the attitude! read more

I had an amazing experience! Everyone is just great, even though my nail technician struggled a little bit with the details, she was so patient and did everything so that the results comes out PERFECT! The boss is also very patient, I was the last client, they did not hurry or anything like that, they wanted for me to leave the place satisfied! I recommend everyone to go there!!!! read more

Absolute absolutely lovely place. I'm a nurse and they fit me in after shift. And did a fabulous job. They made sure I was comfortable nice clean environment. And they took their time. I have gone here a few times. The first time was just ok, where I was immediately seated after walking in but they never offered me a drink. The second time I left with a bad feeling over a nail tech who came over to watch my girl working on my nails. She said the word Feyo(faiyo?) in regards to me directly after giving me a sickening smile and saying my nails looked pretty. I asked a girlfriend if my memory was correct in thinking that word means UGLY. It does. I am in no way a demanding customer, and if anything I go out of my way to always try to make conversation with my nail techs and ALWAYS tip 20%; however, this was an over the top offensive move on this random nail tech who wasn't even working on my nails. I will be letting all my friends know. Update- despite how the manager is trying to turn the situation around his rude nail tech certainly said Feyo. Not phan, since my nails we're no where near finished as my girl had just started putting on polish when the other walked up. read more

I'm also really picky when it comes to the perfect nude or gray dip powder and they have so many swatches to choose from. I highly recommend them and ask for Lynn! read more

I am really surprised with all the good reviews. This place is not good. Maybe it's just the person I got, but she was rude. Very harsh with the nail file, and when I asked that she cut my nails she said "is this good enough for you?" I am disappointed and that was only halfway through my pedicure. Also, they have a very poor selection of regular nail polish. Most is the junky China polish that's got terrible ingredients. I won't be coming back. read more

Heights Nail Spa gets 4 stars for the simple fact that they were immediately able to seat myself AND my girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon. No appointments. Tuh! That's virtually unheard of in the nail shop world. You pay a bit of a premium for the ambiance, professionalism and overall service, but i can't say their prices were ridiculously higher than neighboring shops. No foot massage on the Spa Pedi ($28), which was sort of a bummer. Plus, my nail tech wasn't the friendliest, but she got the job done. Good thing I don't like small talk :) read more

Lets start this off right: I'm a professional nail tech with a hobby of getting a pedi at a salon in every city I visit. I was told about this salon by one of my old clients who recently moved to HTX. He is very picky and appreciates a great massage and great conversation with his tech and got that with me in Cincinnati. He said this place was a close second to the service he received with me (pats my own back!) I made an appointment with Trinh a few days ahead of time because Yelp reviews kept mentioning her name. My old client didn't have a favorite tech yet, so he couldn't recommend anyone in particular just yet. THough I was running behind for the appointment, the manager on the phone was very understanding and passed the message along to Trinh. She was patiently waiting when I arrived. I decided at the last minute to let my 4 year old daughter get her toes painted and Trinh was very accommodating and handled the change very well. Though it put her behind a bit on my pedi, (my sister was getting the same service alongside me) I did not feel Trinh rushed through my service to catch up with Nancy who was doing my sister's feet. (This is something I'm conscious of as I service my clients if they're paired up. I like to make them feel that their feet are all unique and require different levels of attention.) Let me tell you the amazing bullet points: -They have free wine (or whatever beverage you choose)!! -Gorgeous atmosphere & decor (doesn't smell, great lighting, clean) -friendly staff -amazing color selections -nice variety of pedicure choices-- you can customize add-Ons or keep things simple. When I showed up for my appointment they greeted and sat me right away. Light snacks, like cranberries and nuts are provided along with hot tea options, and citrus flavored water. The space is very nice. There are locker rooms with plush spa robes and complementary slippers. The locker room has two steam showers if you want to wash yourself after your massage. They also provide hair products to try as well as a Dyson hair dryer. I was definitely very impressed with the luxurious feel of the spa, however, was turned off by the receptionist who checked me in - her robotic, transactional nature was starkly juxtaposed against the warmth of the spa. I noticed she was the same with all customers so it wasn't personal but interaction with her was unsettling. I booked the 60min signature hydrafacial and the esthetician was welcoming and willingly customized my facial based on my requests. No major issues encountered but I noticed we started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so I thought marketing it as a 60min experience was a bit misleading. Also note the 60min Signature Hydrafacial does not include any hand/neck massages nor boosters nor light therapy so the $285 price was much more expensive than my usual spa. I will not return for another facial but may try massage in the future. We also booked pedicures and again the space is beautiful!! We were given a palette to select colors and the ladies were extremely friendly! My toes came out adorable! I found the seating to be very uncomfortable for a short person despite many pillows placed behind me for support so I honestly struggled to enjoy the experience but the space was very nicely decorated and clean looking. We were offered tea and snacks at the beginning as well. Overall, this was a very nice spa. I found it fairly expensive and overpriced, but I recognize beautiful spaces have a cost and that's what I should've expected in the River Oaks area. There is complementary validated parking!

Im a science nerd, so appreciated this. She also talked through the whole procedure without sugar coating anything.... because, it definitely didn't feel like a relaxing spa treatment. While the pain was SO worth it, it was a different kind of hurt. Best way to describe it is the rubber band analogy but also, it was HOT, like you're under a heat lamp just on that area....however the biggest annoyance to me was the light itself, it was bright (even under goggles and closed eyes) and 'shocking' so i would flinch every time that light would flash and that caused the chain reaction of rubber band pain-heat-relief-repeat. The cooling gel beforehand helped i guess, but once its done the pain is done and it starts to just feel like a sunburn. My recovery took longer than expected but look at all that pigment coming to the surface in pic 2! Was pretty cool watching it all flake off. Fully recovered 7 days later. Sunscreen 3xday everyday during week after. Couldn't be happier with results, will certainly go back for 1-2 more as recommended. Thanks Dr. Desai! Office was nice, pricing on high end but they are in the center of the Heights and its posted on website, cant wait to try other procedures there!

I am not unreasonable; I understand the risk of under-eye filler and that this can happen. But it's the way the situation was handled that bothers me. She pushed a product that she knew wouldn't help fix her own mistake, gaslighted me, and gave me the runaround. Is this someone you want to do your injections with? I have been a member of their monthly club for over a year, and I've noticed several unprofessional events here and there. The last straw was when I got under-eye filler. I started to bruise immediately, and Dr. Desai blamed the bruising on my body(gas lighting); some of it was from me bruising easily, but most of it was from her messing up during the injection, which led to a black eye. She pushed a $50 topical product on me, knowing that wouldn't do a thing to help the black eye. Please see the first photo below. I had a black eye for two months after the injection that has still not entirely gone away; when I sent an email, including the second photo below, to the office, they invited me to come back in. When I entered the office, they did not have me sign legal documents; I went straight back into the exam rooms, where they took more photos. Dr. Desai came into the room to tell me that she could do nothing. SO WHY HAVE ME COME BACK IN AND WASTE MY TIME? After all, I sent a photo in my original email. That is what I asked her. She responded that she couldn't tell what was happening from the photo in my email(as she zoomed into a picture of my face that her staff JUST TOOK ). At this point, I felt she was insulting my intelligence, if I am honest. She knew she wouldn't do anything before inviting me in. Otherwise, I would have signed legal documents before entering the exam room. As a business owner myself, she should have just been HONEST and given me a choice after reviewing my email, for example, "It looks like XYZ is happening, which I cannot fix, but I would be happy for you to come in, and I can take a closer look," instead of wasting more of my time. I asked for a refund for the under-eye filler for living with a black eye for two months and being given the runaround. She declined. I am not unreasonable; I understand the risk of under-eye filler and that this can happen. But it's the way the situation was handled that bothers me. She pushed a product that she knew wouldn't help fix her own mistake, gaslighted me, and gave me the runaround. Is this someone you want to do your injections with? For privacy reasons, this isn't my real name, but I didn't feel comfortable sharing an honest review and real photos under my own name for privacy reasons.

Wow.. I've never felt the need to review a business until now. If I could give this salon ZERO stars I WOULD! The owner Tony is HORRIBLE!!! Overall the salon is nice, but he ruined the entire experience. So sad and unbelievable that an owner of a business would treat his customers the way he does. I'm sure I'm not the first person to complain about him, and I definitely won't be the last. So warning.. if you're unhappy with the service preformed and or have a complaint, he will not take ownership of the problem what-so-ever and try to fix the situation, he will blame you, ARGUE with you, and make you feel like you're wrong, and make up LIES. Having happy customers is clearly not a priority to him! If you read, MOST positive reviews this salon does have, is based on specific nail techs WORK NOT based on customer service. I feel very bad for anyone who has to cross paths with Tony. Unfortunately, running a business doesn't require good communication and customer service skills! This was the absolute worst mani/pedi I've ever had. I had two separate techs that did nails and feet at same time. There was some kind of fiasco happening at the time where the police had to be called due to an unhappy customer who was demanding her $ back. They two that did my nails were staring outside at the police situation the entire time and were super sloppy with everything. The last who did my pedi never once spoke to me after asking for my color and the man who did my mani made my nails super thick and I asked for thin. Hopefully this was just a bad experience due to the fiasco going on but I just beat cancer and this was my first mani/pedi since. I was looking/hoping for a relaxing experience which in the past has been. But today was the worst experience over ever had! They didn't even massage me. Not even a little. And then the total was $86 for basic!!!!!! I'm extra disappointed. Figure out yalls issues in private and make sure your staff stays on task and treats others fair.... I have finally found someone who can do my nails perfectly! I called yesterday to make an appointment for a pink/white arylic fill and was referred to Lynn. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted and offered a beverage and everyone was very friendly. This was my first time seeing Lynn and she is awesome! Heights Nail Spa is in a nice area, so honestly, my expectations were high. That being said, my nails came out so bad! But I didn't have the time to have them fixed the day I went in, and honestly they messed up the first time so I didn't even trust them to be "fixed" to my liking. I've never been to this salon so I had a couple questions, I called a few days ago and spoke to someone named Toni... Sounded really friendly at first, but I guess I asked too many questions because the person sounded annoyed and basically rushed me off the phone. My nail technician who did my pedicure did an OK job. Wish she had exfoliated a bit more but the end result was nice. My manicure was HORRIBLE and did not pay much attention to what she was doing. She kept talking the whole entire time to her neighbor. read more

Got my pedicure done recently, found them on yelp and had booked the appointment. My nails are done good and as i requested for, the workers are efficient and take precautions in regards to Covid19. Prices are fairly cheap compared to other places. read more
