They did not wipe my nails with alcohol before applying polish, and the person who did my manicure pushed my cuticles back so hard I bled. They do not speak basic English, so not able to communicate much with staff. They only showed me one shelf of colors at the entrance but later I saw two more shelves with different colors that I would've wanted to see before choosing. If I could I would give zero stars. Don't waste your time or money coming here. Nail polish on my toes came off in days, and my shellac manicure started peeling & coming off as well. Had to go back in and get both fixed (which I dreaded doing because of how bad the first time going in was). When I first came in here it was so not relaxing (as well as when I came back to get everything fixed)-- they talked in their language almost the whole time, no music was playing either times, no relaxation at all, not offered a drink, etc. Even my fixed product turned out awful. The lady who checked me out the first time I came in tried to charge me more, and I had to point out to her the actual prices of what I got. Awful customer service and care. The owner especially is rude too Will not step foot back into this place -- I guarantee right down the road there's a better nail place that's relaxing and knows how to care of their customers. read more

She knows exactly what I like, and she does a fantastic job every time! And trust me, I'm rough on my nails, but they stay on. No chipping, no breaking, and no lifting. Well let's just say I came in with straight toe nails and left with a crooked toe nail. When I pointed out the manicurist, she acted like she couldn't tell that my she cut it at an angle. Judge for yourself. The ladies here suck. My manicurist cut my nails crooked. My 2 other friends toes were bleeding from their manicurist. Unfortunately I had a not so great experience here. I came in for a regular mani and the spa pedi. When I sat down, I told the nail tech doing my pedi I like my toenails very short. Making sure to speak up and looking at her. The tech doing my nails misunderstood and apparently thought I was talking to her, even after I looked at her and said I'd like my fingernails "short and square." She ended up cutting my fingernails down to my skin and now I have stubby looking fingers. She apologized, but nothing could be done, they've already been cut. Also for the pedi, the massage was just 10 minutes of petting the top of my shins. No foot rubbing action, which I was really hoping for. read more

I had such a nice experience at this salon. I have been (begrudgingly) going to Your NailTime River Oaks for about 6 months now and I'm so happy to have a more relaxing and cheaper alternative. This salon is extremely clean and looks to be pretty much brand new, modern, smells nice, has a super friendly staff, and plays good music. They offer you a drink upon arrival and have plugs in the massage chairs - my favorite feature of all time since my phone is always dead and a pedicure can get pretty boring. It was $28 for a Classic pedicure which includes an extra 5 minutes of massage or you can also get a $20 express pedi or other more expensive options. I also got a gel manicure which was $30 - for a total of $58. Your NailTime is $66 for the same services and definitely not as relaxing, and no better in terms of quality. I am so glad I read the Yelp reviews and decided to try this place. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because I wish they carried a few more regular toe polishes (they don't have any Essie which are the best colors). But TONS of gel colors available. read more

So my boyfriend called them 15-20 minutes prior to closing, hoping I could get my nails done, after two places told us they were closed (one place we were actually in their parking lot, I believe it's Lee's Nails? The lady who answered the phone was rude anyway!) So back to this place, the lady kindly told my BF to head over after she found out he was inquiring for me, and not himself.
