Our group of eight showed up right when this place opened at 11 a.m. on a Friday. There were only two other tables, and we told our waitress right away that we had to leave for a show at 1:00. Even so, our food didn't hit the table until 12:52--ten minutes before we had to walk out. In that entire time, the server never checked on us or offered refills. The food was honestly the worst part. All of the salads had wilted, rotten lettuce that no one could eat. The French fries and Impossible burger came out cold, the guacamole on the burger was brown, and the bun on the Impossible burger was rock-hard. The Cuban sandwich even had a glob of gristle/fat about the size of a golf ball. We asked to be compensated at least for the salads, and they refused. Between the slow, inattentive service and the food issues, this was a really bad experience and not a place we'd go back to. read more

Be cautious with your bill. I was charged for someone else's bill. I went to Black Sheep twice, in person, to correct this erroneous charge. I was assured TWICE that the second charge would be reversed. It has been 20 days and the charge has NOT been reversed. Both times, the owner nor management was on sight. I was not apologized to for the second charge, nor was the management concerned about one of their staff using my debit card to charge someone else's meal. We were traveling in Brown County looking for waterfalls. It was time to nosh. My sweet wife had found Black Sheep online and we headed there. Walked in the door and was hit with a decibel level that was near unbearable ( why does everyone think they have to shout at the top of their lungs?). We almost left. Then a perky hostess approached us, we had to talk into each other's ears to be heard. We were seated at a nice table and given menus by a friendly and capable waitress. We ordered spinach flatbread and onion rings. My lemonade was delicious. Our food was very good and we were happily full when we were done eating. The pizzas we saw were well made and tempting. Place reminded me of Brix in Manitowoc. A noisy restaurant/bar with TV's at every angle. But despite the cacophony the food and service were top notch. Heading to an event at the Weidner center and unfamiliar with the area we chose Black Sheep Pub and Grill due to it's proximity. Decor is nice and the place was pretty busy. Service was timely and friendly. Unfortunately the food did not deliver to make it a great experience. The pizza was good, but could use more sauce. We did ask for some additional sauce on the side, which was promptly delivered, but it was cold. Not quite what we were hoping for. Several in our group got burgers and the consensus was they were dry. One person got a wrap and felt the wrap was too chewy. On the plus side, the sweet potato fries and the homemade chips with dip were excellent!! Not sure we would return. read more

Great patio for the warmer months! Good flatbread, beer, burgers and seared tuna bites!!! There is something on the menu for everyone. The beer list & cocktail menus do get updated regularly which is fun. I agree with all the reviews... including the unimpressive perch and the cod which I think is made from frozen. Not so many places on this eastern side of Green Bay. Take the Bay Settlement exit and head north past the old Victorias. They have NASCAR, Indy and NBA finals on. I was told to eat the Ribeye and I do what I'm told. The Ribeye cut seemed to be similar to a Sirloin cut. It was tender enough but could've been more delightful. The taste was fine. It was really busy in the dining area and bar but seemed to have plenty of seating and we got a couple spots at the bar. We had three bartenders kind of overworking each other all asking us within a minute if we needed anything haha. Kind of constant and odd but at the same time your drink definitely won't stay empty for long this way!! We ordered some appetizers...charcuterie board which was $12 but we added the meat for an additional $2. Was a decent board it did the trick. Additionally, the waitress asked if I wanted the salmon blackened, but failed to say there was a $2 upcharge. When asked about both, we were told the salmon is $20 and all restaurants upcharge for blackened. Well we grabbed a menu on the way out to check and it shows salmon at $18. NEVER been to a place where there was 5 bartenders for one bar and still an ENTIRE bar waiting for drinks. Never. Not to mention the 47 min it took to get our food prior. I've been a bartender for 15 years, 10 of those years in Miami, and never seen such slow service all across the board.
