Their poor communication with my electrical subs cost me an additional $2,500 dollars in charges. Adding insult to injury, the display in my family tv-room has a gaggle of wires exposed all of which are too short for my $300 mount to even work. Because the wires were all too short I can't even pull-out/extend the mount as designed. I asked Dwayne if he'd come back to address the too-short wires on 12/11/13 and have as yet never received a response. A company who doesn't respect the small-er jobs is not likely to respect any jobs.

I've been reluctant to switch, but thanks to Jim and the Mac HQ team, we now have a MacBook Air and I'm typing this review on my lap sitting on the sofa. I'm using this MacBook all over, getting small things done when I'm ready, in comfort (not that computer desk is that uncomfortable...). We had a few considerations to think through w/r/t a large Photos library and more. Jim was both patient and helpful, working with me to get the configuration on the MacBook that we have. It took me several phone calls to work through, but we did it! It was a special order, and a couple weeks later it arrived. After a call with Braiden, he worked through moving the large libraries onto the MacBook and he even merged them. When I picked it up, I had a few additional questions, and Braiden was patient and helpful working me through it all. Along the way, Bailey, Sean and Gage also provided help, in person and on the phone. All, THANK YOU!! Life is better away from screens, to be sure, and yet, screens help us do fun and interesting, and often necessary things... and this MacBook is a great way for me to get things done. I'm a believer! To…read moregive you the backstory: I have a like new 2019 MacBook Pro that I've had since 2021 and have had very few issues with, if any. I've been running beta updates on it and noticed Microsoft word was acting funny. I called the Apple hotline and they suggested I uninstall the beta software and bring it back to where it was. I had difficulty so I made an appt for the Apple Store. Let me preface this next piece that I only came in for Microsoft word. The Apple Store said they ran some tests, weren't able to get it to power back on and I'd need to some piece replaced that would cost $800. I made a split decision and said no and contacted the MacHeadQuarters that same day. I called as I was getting in the car to explain my issue and see what time they close. The man I spoke with on the phone said it would be a $99.00 fee but it would go forwards the computer should there be a charge to fix it. From what I explained, he seemed hopeful they could fix it. They close at 7 and I made it at 6:53! Unfortunately, the man behind the counter wasn't the same person I spoke with on the phone. Regardless, he couldn't have been more courteous and polite, despite it being so close to closing. I apologized profusely for being "that person" but he understood. He got my info and said he'd be in touch. While I was quoted for it being done by Friday at the earliest, I was contacted the next day (for reference, I dropped jt off Monday, 2/09) and they said it was available for pickup at NO CHARGE. I was in disbelief. I don't know who was more happy: me or my wallet! Here's what I loved about this whole process: -They were thorough from start to finish (sent me texts on what the issue was, where they were at, and the time table) -Everyone was courteous. Not once did anyone ever shun me for any of my questions or make me feel silly. Best of all, no one tried to upsell me like a certain store did because they tried to say my model was outdated... yeah, ok, pal. It's running, fine! -they charge a fraction of the cost and still do quality work if not better. The fact that they (MacHeadQuarters) solved the problem in 1 day and you had a STORE full of people hired specifically to fix issues and you still couldn't do it (I'm pointing to you, Apple Store) tells me everything i need to know. The record store portion of the business featured a very good selection of alphabetically- sorted used rock vinyl, including many import pressings ... as well as a few new LPs (including recent RSD releases). Budget-priced discs were in crates below and behind the primary inventory. They also had some jazz, blues, folk/country, and a few classical records. They even had two different releases by my favorite 60's band, Moby Grape!! While the records alone would have brought me back to this store, fully half of their location is dedicated to high-end hi-fi equipment: turntabless, CD players, amp, speakers, etc. I have been wanted to rebuild my home audio for over 30 years ... but after several major geographic relocations, I no longer knew where to start. Well folks, this is it! Mike, the owner, is extremely knowledgable in all matters stereo - and will demo different set-ups at your request. Very high end, audiophile equipment. We were both happily impressed! The entire staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. The eye exams were thorough, they took the time to answer questions and address concerns. The facility is clean, decorated nicely, and has a relaxing atmosphere. I had been told at two aforementioned places that I needed cataract surgery. This doctor explained that yes, I have slight cataracts, but that for now most of my burry vision issues are from dry eye and would be much improved with regular use of eye-drops, and surgery wouldn't be needed for a few years. Great news to me! Turns out I don't need distance correction enough to warrant it, but it was an option if I wanted it, so I opted for readers. He explained that store bought readers have the same strength for both eyes, while prescription readers are tailored to each eye. That makes sense, I simply hadn't thought about it like that. We are more than pleased with our experience at Resler-Kerber and highly recommend them!
