When the fruit is ripe, their food tastes amazing. Unfortunately a few times I've been there and the fruit is not ripe and it's bitter. Passing through on 395, staying in the area on my way to the Oregon coast. Any chance I get to try Mexican spots, I do. North Idaho is a Mexican food desert so this place was a Deff treat! Got tacos and birria as well as esquite. Tacos were flavorful, tortillas lightly fried and the salsa was spicy and delicious. The birria was top notch and the consomé was that much better. We got asada tacos, mangonada, and a Fresca con crema. ( with coconut and granola). This did not disappoint. Tacos were loaded with meat and tasty. We were so excited to find this restaurant that serves Birria Quesadillas. Oh my gosh they were soooo good. This restaurant is very clean and the gals were very nice. I've been there twice I'm not a sweet tea bubble tea whatever type drinker I just like plain tea and they gave me a wonderful green iced tea. My daughter loved her bubble tea both times. What I would like to suggest is what is up with the new dark red and white and black decals on the window? I mean I'm assuming it's for heat reasons but when you come around the corner it looks so dark inside you look like your closed and your open sign is tiny. Just recommending either remove those decals or have them at 50% of the window like the upper half because people like to see outside, this is why people often choose window seats in any restaurant or an airplane and get a bigger open sign that actually flashes or something. Wow this place is good! You get Mexican food, desserts and drinks all in one stop. It was my first time here and I asked the nice cashier what was popular, and she recommend me a bunch of stuff which I ended ordering and more and loving. - Cubana Torta - This one is one of the more expensive items on the menu, but it was well worth it. It was so big and delicious! They did not skimp on the fixings. It has beef steak, pork sausage, pork loin, ham and cheese in it. It's not mentioned on the menu, but it also includes avocado spread. - Asada fries - Such yummy cheesy goodness. I highly recommend eating this one ASAP because the cheese makes the fries soggy. - Quesabirra - I didn't get to try this one but was told there wasn't enough fixings in it. That's a bummer. - Mangoneada Con Nieve y Mango Natural - This was great, but I would have liked it more if the mango pieces were riper. Maybe next time I'll ask how ripe the mangos are before getting this with the mango pieces. - Horchata - Their horchata is good! I ended getting it the next day! - Walnut (cream based) popsicle - I was little shocked with the gal told me walnut popsicle was one of their popular flavors and was even more shocked when I tasted it. It was pretty dang good! - Pistachio (cream based) popsicle - Yup, it's good! - Guava (water based) popsicle - YUMMY! - Coconut (water based) popsicle - Another good one! PRO TIP: ask one of the nice ladies that are working in the dessert counter to give you samples of their drinks. I did and I was able to find out which drink I should get. Every time I go in I get looked at weird because I'm not Hispanic I'm guessing... either way I was a regular customer there and the tortillas were hard and they were out of small ones! The bacon to the hot dog wasn't even fully cooked it was still hella slimey and by the time got the food it was cold. I understand being busy but don't just have the food out if you're not going to give it to the customer. We waited 45 minutes for two hot dogs that weren't warm and the bacon was raw. I love love love their tortas de lomo. My go to but I decided to try their chicken salad and I was a bit disappointed. The lettuce to chicken ratio is like 8:1, very little avocado, carrots, onion, lots of house made croutons and tomatoes. Flavor wise - the chicken was good and so were the croutons. The prices are a little high for the Latino community that buys these same menu items in other places possibly cheaper but not too bad. They have AMAZING horchata and the popular dulces enchilados that I have yet to try but am excited for! read more

First time trying this place out and I wasn't able to get a sample. The cashier said it was because of Covid so I understood. But then when I asked what kind of flavors of ice cream they had, she had no clue. She simply showed me the sauces that they use to make the ice cream. Overall, the ice cream was extremely sweet. It tasted like straight sugar. I like sugar here and there, but this was overbearing. A couple bites in and I couldn't eat much longer. A good thing about it was that it had a store connected to it.
