First time visit to San Diego and during our trip, my sister needed her eyebrows done, and this spot while further away from our hotel, seemed more legit than others. We stopped by mid-morning as a walk-in and she kindly greeted us and added my sister to the appointment list. While it's a small studio within another shop (coffee/pastries), I knew this place was going to be great due to the foot traffic and people waiting to be serviced. Went in to get my brows threaded by Helen. The first visit, I had concerns regarding hair growth and a dry patch of skin on my brows. Not only did she take that into consideration in how to shape my brows, she also gave me a tube of oil to support growth until next time. After a month has passed, i went in for my second visit. My brows definitely grew from last time, and not only was I warmly welcomed, but she immediately recognized me and remembered my concerns from the first time. I really felt like I was in good hands. Helen is super kind, understanding, and a good listener concerning how you would like your brows done - which is a huge limitation for a lot of places that dont quite hit the mark. She also provides tips about shape, hair growth, etc. if asked. Some notes - place was really clean, but there is poor signal in the building.
