This was my second time getting my eyelashes done. The first time, I went to Amazing Lash Studio in Del Mar and was extremely disappointed with the outcome. I was given a full set of 6D lashes in less than an hour and left with tons of black adhesive glue all over my eyelids. I asked them if this was normal and they said yes, and that it would eventually come off. I was so sad that it looked fake with all the black glue because I asked them to give me natural-looking lashes with a little bit of mascara. They told me that my eyelashes were sparse and weak, which is why I had several gaps between my eyelashes. Two weeks later, I made an appointment to see Jovanna at Eyedeal. This made me very nervous to see Jovanna because I was afraid she wouldn't be able to fix them. She was so sweet and told me that she could give me a fill but I begged her to remove the remaining 6D lashes and start over with a new set. She took the time to thoroughly explain the different lash types and styles. And she was so gentle taking off the old chunky 6D lashes while making sure she didn't rip off my own lashes. She ended up giving me a hybrid set and OMG it was a complete 180 experience. She also spent time with me after to go over aftercare instructions.
