This has been my go-to threading spot for a long time, and I've never had a bad experience until today. Unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied with how my eyebrows turned out. I came in for a simple clean-up since the usual ladies who take care of me weren't there. However, my eyebrows ended up uneven, and there were still areas that could have been cleaned up more thoroughly. At the time, I chose not to say anything because I didn't want my brows to end up worse than they already were, so I paid and left. I believe it's important for employees to be well-trained and confident in the services they provide so that clients can consistently receive the level of care they expect. As a loyal customer, I value thoroughness and consistency, especially from a place I've trusted for so long. The outcome of services should reflect the quality the business is known for. While I'm unsure if I'll be returning, I wanted to share this feedback in hopes it helps improve future experiences, as I know this business is capable of much better. read more

They do an amazing job doing brows and they accept walk-ins. Bring cash! I used to live by this place and loved going here for brows. My last few experiences weren't the greatest. The brow artist made comments about my skin and also I felt shamed for not having cash. I know it's nothing personal. They do a great job, although I won't be coming here again. read more

Been coming here for a few years and I continue to love their consistent work and customer service. Rana and her daughter Maryam are amazing and talented at what they do. Some of these negative reviews are a little questionable as Rana is the type of business owner to make things right on her end when customers voice their concerns. Not only that but she accepts serval forms of payments and continues to express her gratitude to receiving your business and/if you include a tip. Every time I tip, they constantly are surprised and are extremely grateful as if they don't deserve more than the average 15%. I tried to give this place multiple chances. When they first opened, they did a great job, but the last two times I've been there, they made my eyebrows look so bad and so uneven. I had been growing out my eyebrows for the last 2 months after the last time they did them just to go back there and have the worst outcome ever! The person was very nice but the gap in between the brows is huge, the eyebrows are very thin even though I asked for thick, and they do not match at all. She removed way too much hair. So far my experience has been great! They are meticulous when it comes to threading. During my first visit the lady explained in detail what she did and why. I've never had any one do that before. You can tell they care about their work. The place is super cute inside. The obvious downside is parking since it is in north park. If you pay with card there is an extra $1 fee. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years years now. Specifically because Rana is amazing. But, I've had the same woman twice now (not Rana or her daughter) and I am so mad about how bad my eyebrows look. They are uneven, my arch is not where it was before I walked in, the person took too much hair off the ends and completely changed the shape of my eyebrows. I specifically asked to just clean up and keep the shape... not what I got. I have a whole new shape. It's disappointing. read more

I love it here !!! I have even brought my mom, sister and aunt to come get their eyebrows done. I swear you will not be disappointed, every time I've gone here it's been magic. I know I can trust any of the ladies who is here at the time. They prefer cash but accept card ! You got 15min parking on the side street, if you can't find parking it's okay to park far and walk. These were my eyebrows before and after. I just asked for a clean up. I've threaded eyebrows for many years, I know how I like them. I told her not to touch the middle but she completely removed the inner corner of my right eyebrow and made it straight. After arguing with me saying she had to take the right inner corner to "level them out", she refunded me. Never asked her to level my eyebrows up, they're not even leveled. I've recently started going here after my old threading place inflated their pricing quite unreasonably. This salon seems to be ran by a mother-daughter couple. The daughter worked on my eyebrows the last two times I was there and she has always been so nice and attentive to details. Eyebrow threading is $17 and they only take either cash or Zelle so be prepared for that. read more

I've been here twice and I was surprised at how pricey this place was, they don't take Venmo or card and charge 3$ to use their atm machine. Well I've gone here a couple times when I don't want to trek out to my normal lady in La Mesa. It's usually a quick and easy experience, however, I get a different person each time and the results are different each time. This last time I didn't like how much she took off the ends of my brows, it significant affected my brow shape by doing so. I'm so glad my brows grow back quickly because this time though I had months of growth, I wasn't super satisfied with the shortness of my brows. I lucked out on parking, I would guess that it normally hard because of the location (in between The Mission and Breakfast Republic).
