Yesterday was my 1st visit with her. Previously I had 2 powder dips 3 weeks a part. My 1st dip was at Elegant Nails who did a great job. The 2nd was a bad experience at the Blackhawk Nail Salon. Helen convinced me to go back to acrylic. I'm so glad she did. It's a lot less work & it's less expensive than a power dip The reason I started dips was because I was told it will last longer & a powder dip is the strongest manicure you can get. I posted some pixs of my right nail ring finger. It was extremely painful. My skin grows underneath my nails. I called Helen to schedule an appointment when my nail completely healed. I worried of an infection from chemicals going into any type of wound. Especially a powder dip. She works by herself. If you get a pedicure & manicure it'll take a little longer but it's worth the wait. Her work is meticulous. I posted before & after pixs. read more

Helen is wonderful. It is nice to call a phone number and always get the same person. My nails have always been difficult, because they are curved at the edges. Helen always makes them look perfect. She is never late and very accommodating. Her pedicure lasts a whole month. I would highly recommend Helen. read more

I haven't been to Helen in a long long time. But I miss my nail appointment yesterday so I called Helen because of the holiday everyone is booked but she squeezed me in early early in the morning. I'm so thankful and greatful. Again she's just as good as I remember but this time I've just did a one color and a glitter accent. But the way she did my nail is what matter. I'm picky and love my nail thin and narrow. I hate the heavy feel of acurlics and the chunkyness. Over all my nail looks quite natural. I found Helen in Yelp while looking for a new nail technician as my current girl is out of the country. I've tried a few places in between and I have walked away feeling disappointed, nails not shaped right, feeling like my requests were not obliged. I called Helen and scheduled an appointment. She took time to ask me what type of product was on my nail and what I wanted. She was able to accommodate my schedule. Within the first few minutes of my appointment I felt at ease, felt like she actually cared about what I wanted. She looked at my nails, asked about my preferences and actually listened to my requests. I'm pretty picky about my nails and most especially about pink and whites. I don't like them thick, want a natural look and don't want a thick white line. Helen was very honest with what she could do for my nails and began to work on them meticulously. It was easy to communicate with her, explaining what are my likes and dislikes. Needless to say she delivered. I was so impressed that I will be returning.
