They make the best Pecan Pie. I got the best pecan pie ever from here. I ordered a family-size pecan pie from here for a family get-together. My parents, my wife, and I enjoyed it so much we all got a second slice. It is a very high-quality pie and costs more than one you can purchase from a Costco, but it is worth every penny. They have such a cute bakery with a beautiful pie case filled with decadent beautiful pies. Everything we tried was delicious! Try the banana cream pie for sure! And all seasonal treats. We tried the pistachio cookies as well as a mango pie. I love that the place allows you to purchase in multiple sizes. Large enough to share or a personal size treat. Great pie. This will be a repeat. First of all, be it know that I'm a fat diabetic that will probably die with a smile on my face. I couldn't find the store even with the address and GPS. There is a tiny sign in front of an industrial building. You have to go down a skinny alley on the right side of the building. It didn't feel right. I knew I was in the right place when I saw the smiling owner out front. I was there with a list of pies from my wife to buy for her birthday. If you want a specific pie you should call up plenty of time ahead and they will let you know if it's available or they have to bake it. When I went into the cute shop they only had several pumpkin pies (I hate pumpkin poop pie) and a beautiful double crust caramel apple pie. My wife doesn't like caramel. I thought I was sunk. She had some you bake frozen pies in the back freezer. One was a Mixed Berry. Oh yum. I said yes please. I paid for it and picked it up off the counter. I almost fell over. This pie weighed a ton. I have never picked up a pie this heavy. Wow! Took it home and defrosted it as directed by the instructions. Baked it as required. Let it cool for awhile. Bake it on a sheet pan as it will bubble over. Cut and eat. The crust was light and well, crusty perfect. Its filling had a great mouth feel. You could feel the berries. It wasn't all mushy. It was sweet but not overly sweet. YUMMY. I want to try the shepherds pie. I'll be back. read more
